You can chain these to make double bass connections. Nice.

Quality:
I fiddled with pintech but got tired of non-compliance issues with roland modules. Just go all roland and you'll be fine.

Value:
Worth it. Save your money, get a good pedal with great response. Bounces well.

The sound really depends on the module.

Roland does it again. I love my KD-7, although I wish it had come with it's own pedal. It's kinda boucy, but that's perfect for a beginner like me. It's got great response time with my TD-6, and should be a great buy if you're not looking for a permanent kick trigger. Obviously, the mesh head triggers are nicer, but they're WAY too expensive for somebody like me.
