Feature:
Everything works as it should; including both trigger zones. The trigger zones are wide too! But you HAVE to buy a seperate mount to add to existing drums. The recommended mount for hi-hat (mdh-10u) needs to be a little longer. That's my ONLY complaint... The mount works fine but I like my hi-hats to sit a little higher than what's possible with the mdh-10u.
Quality:
It's Roland. That about says it all. Can't ask for any better.
Value:
For the money; can't go wrong. Affordable and high quality.
Desirability:
Looks great; even better in person.
Sound:
The trigger response is excellent for use a hi-hat. Much better than the standard PD-8! Closer feel to a real hi-hat than the PD-8.
Ease of Use:
No problems triggering at all. Simply works with no tweaking other than setting the trigger type in your drum module. (when you first hook it up)
Support:
Never had to use it.
Overall:
Best bang for the buck for a veteran drummer.
