I love this little amp..better then I thought it would be..over all output is great if on AC or DC power is outstanding. for a small group inside or outside this amp has all the bells and whistles you should need. I use it with a t.c. helicon g-xt and shure 58 mic and have a ball....Highly recommend...

I bought a Roland AC-33 acoustic guitar amp which was supposed to be blemished. I got for a little more than $100 off. I love it! It looks brand new. I have yet to find the blem. Great outfit to do business with.

This has been my favorite acoustic amp to gig with from the jump. It does not have much power but the tone is honest and un hyped. I have several other acoustic amps but pound for pound, this is the most natural sounding with nylon. It’s 2x5” speakers don’t require a tweeter and because of that, the highs are not brittle (which is an issue with many similar products. In the time I’ve been using this since around 2004 I have gone through 2 Crate limos, a Crate Taxi, Loudbox mini and a Cube Street EX and a ZT Lunchbox Acoustic. I’ve used the Roland AC33 on big stages with sound reinforcement as a monitor and many small rooms, medium venues through PA, outside, on boats, golf course ceremony’s. The battery operation is brilliant. I have run tracks through it also and done one man solo gigs. The volume is not impressive but you can work around that in a pro venue. It’s a natural for moving around at a wedding on a large property. The best feature is the natural tone, balanced and easy to listen to, it does not fight me with strident sounds. Many new amps have come out but I won’t ever get rid of this. The looper is a nice perc also!

I haven't taken it out side yet but so far the sound is great full and perfect for what I had in mind. I've been running it on batteries for a week (couple of hours a day) and so far it's still got battery time to spare.

I have been trying to have my AC 33 amp. either repaired or exchanged because the delay /rev is sticking on delay and cannot be adjusted I cannot contact Roland online nor by phone to either exchange or repair this amp that is still under warranty I called zZounds and tried to address this problem and was told that someone would reach out to Roland and have them call me so that I could return the amp. No one ever contacted me .

"Great sounding lightweight battery powered amp!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Sound
For such a small amp it sounds GREAT!
Features
It's super lightweight! The specs say 10lbs but it feels more like 5. Reverb and Chorus are pretty good. It would be nice for the chorus to be a dial than a switch, but it does the trick and produces a good sound.
Value
I wish this was closer to $300. But similar amps (crate limo etc) are priced about the same.
