I watched the factory demo on this amp and decided to take the chance. The best equipment decision I've made in my 60+ year career. Clean, noise-free circuitry comes alive with tube style harmonics and that edge often associated with old fender amps. Quilter scored big with this one. Played it through a variety of cabinets, tone and EQ circuitry left nothing to be desired. AAA+++

I don't have much exposure to tube amps so I can't say exactly how this compares but this is better than any solid state amp I've had and I've had a few. The sound is very warm and takes all my pedals well. The voicing really does get you in the ball park for what I recognize as Fender and Marshall tones (surf and lead), and each voice has something to offer even if it isn't apparent, like the tweed voice breaks up faster at lower gain. It makes my strat and Les Paul sound very good and takes all my pedals great. I am running a 1X12 cabinet and I am able to get the same tone at bedroom levels with plenty of power to fill a room. I can only take the volume to about 25-30% in band practice and that is a loud practice. I sold my fulldrive pedal because the cream boost offers great overdrive tone and stacks well with my soul food pedal feeding it. My order came without the soft case and Quilter sent out a new one no questions asked. I am really happy that I happened upon this technology instead of going down the tube route as I was planning.
