Feature:
The snare switch is dumb, when you need to put the snare off, you need to really work at it to have it go down all the way. The cymbals were pretty bad. Nothing special about the set.
Quality:
The drums are really sturdy, i tried to break my sticks. no pro held up like a rock. The snare is terrible sound wise, qualities a so so.
The toms aren't bad. The bass pedal was pretty crappy as the part where you connect the beater in, loosens often and makes a clicking noise. Cymbal stands are really good i found them to be really sturdy as well. The hi-hat on the other hand wasn't it was pretty bad, when i would play the hi-hat would radomly drop down because the knob would loosen over palying.
Value:
Considering it came with cymbals its not bad for a Pearl drumset its really just all in the name "Pearl"
Desirability:
Looked really sharp! I bought the black carbon, which is black and kind of green checkers. Looked HOT!!
Sound:
I expected better from Pearl, the snare was terrible. After two days of playing the snare head broke.(i wasnt playing hard)After changing the head to a thicker remo emperor, it sounded really bad. I had to go out and purchase some moon gel to dampen it. If your a jazzish drummer this snare sucks if you roll. I also had to change the high tom's skin to a remo pinstripe because it cracked. Otherwise the Bass, and the other toms are not bad.
Ease of Use:
It was pretty easy to use considering i know how to set it up. I had no confusion at all. Quite easy...
Support:
When i broke the snare head, the guy was so rude and mean. He was like " stop bothering my people!!" like really mean....total asshole.
Overall:
Its a alright beginners set, but you could be a lot more satisfied with a TAMA or a Pearl Export. Im not over it, it plays alot better after you change the heads. I bought Sabian cymbals which was alot better. If you change the snare drum it would be a heck of a lot better of a set.
