Feature:
The built in mixer & scratch features are great, i'm hoping that the next firmware upgrade will allow you to assign tracks to deck A & deck B via the keyboard.

Quality:
The iDJ2 is well designed but the casing could have been made to look more professional as it feels very "flimsy". Professional quality technology within a toys body. I have recently purchased the overpriced roadcase (£120) which makes it look much more professional & keeping the iDJ2 safe while on the road as well as gigging.

Value:
If the body was not made of plastic & the buttons were more robust, then probably it would be worth the money, but at the moment it is overpriced.

Desirability:
Looks absolutley stunning with its cool blue LED's

Sound:
I use the iDJ2 alongside a pro twin CD player at every gig, & even the 320 bitrate mp3's do not sound as sharp a CD's

Ease of Use:
Very easy to use as all the knobs, sliders etc seem to be placed in the correct positions, however the LCD screen should be made bigger as it only displays 8 tracks/artists/etc. The manual is supplied on the USB thumb drive which is annoying.

Support:
I have had major problems with the 1.09 firmware & have to admit that the guys at Numark HQ in the UK were very helpful & also contacted the guys in the States regarding the problems, which in turn led to a phone call to me here in the UK from Numarks tech dept in the States, we must have spoken approx 20 mins regarding my problems, however, after the following 2-3 weeks with still the same problems UK & USA did not want to know anymore.

Overall:
If the product were lost or stolen then i would replace it. It is a saviour at instant track/artist searching. One of the best features about it is it "crate" facility where you can place requests & your set in for easy loading during your perfomance. The worst thing about it is its "not quite 100% reliable" at the moment, but hoping the new 1.10 firmware will cure this.

Sound:
By far the best mixer ever Invented! I've been spinnin for 30 years and I've tried every imaginable mixer manufactured, and this IDJ2 is the best mixer not only for the money, but the ease of operation. I havent spun for two years and was thinking maybe it'll take me a week to get back into the swing of things, and after 30 minutes I was better than Little louie Vega. Not only its idiot proof for makin mixes, it reduces my work loaded of searching for vinyl, beat per minute, and it'll save me $2000 a year in record cartridges, and needles, hey I'll still carry my battle case with my 1200's to scratch, and thats the only thing I haven't mastered on the IDJ2,but hey I only had it for two days.I guess my hand is a little quicker than the platters, it has a back que and forward cue, but the release is poor, its either a delay, or a miscue runni to fast or slow, but no worries, if I don't master it, I'll just bring one case of vinyl to scratch. Aside from the scrathin, the cueing, flanging, and trixed out mixes I make, well it just like touching vinyl, see you at my next event! all eyes on me as I intro this bad boy!

Feature:
Easy to learn basic DJing features on this unit, having it all compact in one unit makes moving a breeze. Does feel a bit flimsy because of how light it is. Have heard multiple horror stories about the product failing, but have yet to experiance anything but flawless operation.

Quality:
Like I said, it feels flimsy but its quality is sound.

Value:
Expensive but worth it. One iPod saves big cost.

Desirability:
The blue glow that it gives off is very sexy and appealing to the eyes, not all the features are lit up so you still need an external light.

Sound:
Sound Quality is good, 3 channel EQ on both decks is nice and easy to manage

Ease of Use:
Simple and easy. Takes some getting used to, everything is well placed and easy to learn with muscle memory. Most of your frequently used features are in easy to remember places, dont even look most of the time.

Support:
Have not needed customer service.. (fingers crossed)

Overall:
Quality, Easy, Great for beginners.

Feature:
I love that it can take various USBs, devices and more. Plenty of ports. The manual is a little off-handed, with lots of leaps in assumption. I dig the crate option, could use maybe a better dial to get through stuff.

Quality:
I had some glitches during play that scared me. Not the horror stories I've heard of, but not exactly endearing either. It's a very light unit, mostly plastic, so beware. It's very pretty and not a space hog, which I appreciate.

Value:
It's pretty costly for its workmanship, but it saves you a lot of grief ad lifting if it works right.

Desirability:
It's pretty, and the sceen is nice. I'm hesitant to run with it by itself at a gig until I get a bug-free month out of it, but it's sharp.

Sound:
The sound on this is very strong. If you've ever just tried plugging an iPod into a mixer and goign, you'll know tha the sound is suspect at best. This fixes that, giving you clean sound AND EQ on both channels to compensate.

Ease of Use:
After it loads your iPod, you're good to go (assuming it reeads everything on your iPod, which mine did not). It's not very intuitive; it took some serious manual diving to figure out how to do what should be quick functions. The cue actually seems a bit counter-intuitive to traditional cueing. On my traditional mixer I hit a cue button and that's it. Here I have to switch a dial (that is on the front and NOT the top; bad) and then push a couple of buttons to cue.

Support:
Have a request in to the company about not reading all of my iPod now. We'll see what happens. Until then, I found the experience of emailing them about it fine and easy to do. We'll see if they actually respond.

Overall:
This is my first experience with a straight-digital DJ rig, so I appreciate the work that went into it and it seems head and shoulders over it's previous incarnation. And needing only one iPod is almost worth half of the price alone. That said, I worry that it's a little obtuse, not very friendly to the casual DJ at all.

Feature:
The features are great and easy to use.

Quality:
This is a worthless product, DO NOT waste your money on this. The features are great, but the unit is completely unstable, it shut down on me in the middle of a gig, and left me with nothing. It has all kinds of bugs and glitches, and when you contact Numark they say that there is nothing wrong with it, even though it kept freezing, shutting, etc. Save youself the headache, time, and money, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Value:
Worthless toy. It's a joke to call it a Pro DJ product. I wouldn't take it even if it was free, since it is unstable and you can't use it at a gig or to record.

Desirability:
I returned my unit to the store after a lot of phone calls to Numark, and arguing with teh store manager.

Sound:
The sound it decent as with other mixers.

Ease of Use:
Easy to use.

Support:
Numark won't help you in anyway other then exchange the unit. They claim that they ahve tested it, but I continued to have major issues with the unit. They won't give your money back! This is not a professional product! It's a toy!
