I will most likely keep it till it molds in my garage like some other equipment. But on a hot summer day in the year 2025 I plan to shake my money maker with this bad boy outdoors for Carnaval baby!
Sound
I am able to get ringing pure highs to gnarly blues tones from this outstanding Marshall stack. I have been playing for thirty years and own many rigs and find this is a really well priced Marshall value package. Don't think this means best of all for every sound as my Roland Jazz Chorus has a more pure clean for jazz and single coil sounds but for most all rock from Zepplin to Cream to Trower you can find it here. Currently playing it stock. Screams right nice. Santana Moonflower big time vibe from the Valve pre-amp for very few dollars/peso's. EXCELLENT!! I use a variety of 15 guitars from 3 Ibanez Les Paul Lawsuits setup with Super 70's, Dimarzio's and Seymour Duncan's, to Gretsch Historic setup with single coil DeArmond's, a Standard Stratocaster and a variety of Nipon's finest offerings from the 80's. Get the Marshall Tone Monster Sound !
Features
Simple and pure like the older rigs. I like the functions just like they are on this one as I use a variety of peddles and effects to get the variety of sounds I am able to coax from this settup. The footswitch problem I have heard about would be a bummer but mine has been fine since purchased in 2003. But since so many have mentioned it I'll give it a nine. Many have mentioned they don't like the headphone jack or CD input. I like it fine as I use both features for tuning and some setups without any hassles. If you don't think the cd option is cool you don't have this stack. Outdoor stadium arena sounds in my back yard. The kidies come from miles to listen.
Quality
Very durable and built rock solid. If you don't beat this equipment it should look great for a long time. Again, this is right up there with the best equipment for real players. This is not the top of the line but a real performance line for real players. If you have the magic it can come out of this boxes dude.
Value
Check out this value stack. You can't even find a decent lawn mower for this kind of caching. But this can sound like a buzz saw!
Manufacturer Support
Again the best I have encountered in 30 plus years. Alot of my equipment's makers have been long gone for a long while. (Gretsch BroadKaster, Silvertone Twin, Acoustic Amps... etc., etc., etc.
The Wow Factor
It can shake my house of blues loose.
