Feature:
The speaker has knobs on the back to control highs and lows, I haven't played with them much yet, but they could be useful during the mixing process.
Quality:
It is very astetically pleasing, and seems to be built solid. I'm very happy with the frequency response.
Value:
Worth the price, probably more.
Desirability:
sleek, all black with a light blue power light. A classy addition to my studio.
Sound:
I just got it, and heard Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001 in ways I never heard it before, I was using some old Technics and Bose home theatre speakers, and there is no comparison. Very good frequency response across all ranges, the only reason I gave it a 9 is that it does have some noticable feedback when you have signal going to them but the sound turned down all the way.
Ease of Use:
It's a simple monitor, and it does what a monitor is supposed to do. The HF and LF switches in the back are useful, but I don't think it's a feature I'll be using much.
Support:
I had to replace this product the first time zzounds.com sent it to me because I wasn't getting sound out of it, they asked me a few questions then emailed me a return UPS shipping label, they also shipped me a new one out before I shipped the old one, which was really nice, I only had to wait 3 days to get the replacement monitor!
Overall:
The hum concerns me a little, but I still have some tweaking to do with my studio setup, and overall the sound is beautiful.
