Feature:
It has veery thing you need but because it is not a digital mixer which is prob a lil bit more modern for studio recording, this mixer can be used still for project studios but even better for live shows and concerts.

I've thrown a lot at this mixer in the two years since I got it, and it has never failed to amaze me. I own a studio, and it has been one of the most reliable and great sounding pieces of gear that I own.

I got this mixer to 'warm up' my digital synths as they are passed on to 24/48 converters. Used to own an 01v and couldn't get around how 'cold' it sounded. This was especially true when using digital sound modules and samplers. Think about the number of conversions that take place in order to present a patch to tape via a digital mixer and you will understand why analog mixers aren't going to disappear for awhile... they still sound better (even a budget desk like a Mackie) Can't wait to team mine up with an HD24/96.

The 24.8 has been in my studio(home) for nearly a year now and i'm still finding alternative ways of abusing it!
Great EQ and patching.
The only thing it falls short of is it's lack of balanced I/O, but you get what you pay for!
