I LOVE this keyboard. No, it's not cheap. I got around paying for it by having my job buy one for me (I'm a school music teacher), and I won't play anything else if given a choice. The only drawback I have found is in the sound banks... a few sounds, such as the horns, are pretty cheesy, kinda thin. I'm sure this can be fixed with an add-on card, but it would be nice not to need it. Otherwise, the ability to edit sequences during playback without interrupting them is a major plus. Taking tempo out of the sequence mode and making it a control knob, allowing changes during sequence playback, adds to the ease-of-use. The touch screen is not new to Trinity users, but is really a terrific feature if you haven't upgraded since it was introduced. The interface is a tremendous improvement over earlier keyboards -- Korg simplified several actions that once took multiple steps, and improved the placement of certain functions to make access more logical. I personally own the old O1W-FD 61-key, and it took the Triton to
pry my fingers away from it. Go with the 76-key if possible, as 61 just never seemed to be enough on the O1W. I used this keyboard to write and orchestrate our spring shows last year, as well as lay tracks for all sorts of accompaniment needs and demos. I've barely scratched the surface of it's capabilities. I highly recommend this keyboard.
