Feature:
An amazing amount of plug-ins and quality effects come with this software. Also, VST support allows you to further expand your sound capabilities. This app has the best Piano roll and sequencer I have ever found. It also offers ReWire support so you can use Reason with it (together the two are unbeatable!). The mixer is great as well. Oh and automation! With version 5, you can draw automation splines that you can see while you're working! Also offers time-stretching and resampling using the Elastique engine!!! So many features, so little time to write about them all.

Quality:
GREAT PRODUCT. Rock solid. NEVER crashes on my system (and we all know that music software crashes often).

Value:
With Reason charging aroun $400 for their software, I can't believe FL is so cheap. But don't let the price fool you. Reason is a mere toy when compared. Although I do like using Reason's instruments through ReWire, that's just another benefit of FL.

Desirability:
This app is the sexiest sequencer out there. It simply looks great when compared to the boring 'standard' windows interfaces of other sequencers. The dark interface is easy on the eyes, making it possible to work for longer periods of time without eye-strain.

Sound:
Sound quality is great. Allows for up to 32bit output but I always use 16 and it sounds great.

Support:
When you buy FL Studio, you get access to their user forums. The community is great but that's not the best part. The best part is having direct access to the developers and marketing people right there on the forum. Amazing!

Overall:
This is the best sequencer available in my opinion. It has almost everything a digital musician could want. And it's always improving.

cakewalk-like serial stuff for registering is a mind boggling task

Overall:
supplement, i'd keep it...i'd cry if its gone... FL studio "refills"(pads) were too hard to access unlike propellerhead reason(sharing of patches)

Feature:
total control of everything from tweeking..CUTS,FILTERS to RESONANCES... to TOTAL FULL control of your VSTi plug-in level switches, from ear damaging SATYR** to SYTRUS plug-ins, S@%#! sometimes i lost my mind,dont know what to do next,..its got full total control customizing and twisting every VSTi knob **downloaded from the net

Sound:
its now 192khz... FL STUDIO 4.5.2... fantastic for 192khz soundcards..

Overall:
its got its very own "CPU Plug-in load meter" that monitors the current load of your processor...

Many very useful features built in.

Quality:
Very reliable. Haven't had any stability problems. Interesting interface.

Value:
Amazing value for the money. Comes with many powerful effects and sound generators right out of the box. Definitely the best value in computer music software I've seen. Nothing else provides as many quality sounds and effects for the money.

Desirability:
Definitely has a very cool presentation.

Sound:
Excellent selection of built in sound generators. Fruity loops gives you plenty of great sounds for a very low price.

Support:
Website is difficult to understand, as is the registration system.

Overall:
I keep it around but I'm often tempted to use other things first because they are easier to understand and use.
