Why anyone would hassle with miking after hearing how well this works is beyond me. When I stand in front of the house system and play my guitar it sounds like it does coming out of my cabinet! There's no bleeding from other instruments, no change in tone from a slight change in the axis of the mic, doubles as a direct box for anything - do yourself and your tech a favor and get one!
