Sound: the versitility in the hartke amps has always been prevelant the valve s/s preamps system the eq system and the output power always on mark all though out the range vx xl now the hy drive which i am going to play monday i am pretty sure i wont be disappointed thanks to larry and his team for all their efforts and professional reliable products, tell larry to get some swag on line i'll advertise for him be proud to thankx Feature: my 250 had the rack ears in the box very cool Ease of Use: the key to genius is simplicity Quality: larry published his personal phone number if you dont believe you dont do that stuff Value: yes absolutely it is priced for access for any level of player these are the times of you get what you pay for Manufacturer Support: didn't ever need service but i wasn't afraid they wouldn't back it up The Wow Factor: the hy drive is totally amazing full on pro,!! always through out the range has had professional features/ cosmetics stu hamms g-3 rig's Overall: I WONT LARRY IS LESS THAN 200MIDOWN THE THRUWAY, AWAY I CAN DRIVE TO GET SERVICE /PARTS OR REPLACMENT , IF NECESSARY

Sound: Ok, so i went into Sam ash to try this thing out.....I hooked up my bass(a Hartke starter kit bass with pretty much broken pickups,tuned to Drop C-G-C-F) Usually it only sounds OK but coming out of this amp it was beautiful!! sounded even better than the Rickenbacer i had tried through a mesa at a different store 0_0 It was loud, it had punch, and was well defined from my Low C up to my highest notes. Everything came out clear and not even a little muddy! and when i hooked up a Bongo to that thing OMG!!! it blasted out the bass, and shook me! unbelivable, i can't even describe it!!! Feature: err, i think it has a bar in the back to push, wheels, and slide "rails"....... Ease of Use: With the LH1000 head(which i was using at the time) it was so simple....had like 3 knobs and two buttons, but still sounded increadible! INCREADIBLE! Quality: seems great, i saw nothing wrong. Value: Its expensive, But i dont think its any more expensive than an ampeg......and trust me, it sounds SOOOO much better than an ampeg. Like, no comparioson....and 2000 watts of powerhandling. Manufacturer Support: dunno, never tried....I called Larry Hartke once though. He was a cool guy, talked for a while and sent me some strings and a catalouge...Great strings by the way! The Wow Factor: OMG!! I'm trying to sell two basses, a guitar, and my current stack of SWR 4x10, Son of bertha, and a hartke model 5000 so i can afford this thing and the head....I LOVE IT! Overall: Amazing truely amazing! thats about it. I kinda doubt i would ever need anything, Maybe get a Hartke Kilo head someday to make it sound better....
