I don't know what the 'other' opinion is based on, but, I just played in front of 1500 people with this bottom for the first time. And, I have no complaints at all. It did what I wanted it to do. Grab the bottom, and hold it there. And, that's exactly what this '15' did. Maybe if you play 'head-banging' crap, or 'metal', and you have to 'crank' to get your sound out, then, maybe you should go to the XL series. But, if you play with taste, and, dienamec's, then this amp will more then do the job. It did the job for me. I was really pleased with the sound of this bottom. It's a keeper for me.
