Very well made, mine is made of nice chrome. Looks beatiful on the headstock.

Value:
This is an excellent way to add "tone" to your guitar on the cheap. I get complements on my tone all the time, and this is just one of the little secrets that helps contribute to it.

Sound:
I use this on the headstock my Jimi Hendrix signature strat. This thing fattens the tone up just a bit. The difference is subtle, but it is audible and I prefer to have it on. It trades out a bit of high frequencies and sweetens up the midrange.

Overall:
This piece of gear is a great and well-kept secret. I love mine but I have never seen anybody else play with one- ever! I highly recommend one if you are a tone junky like me and you want to thicken up your tone.
