Had my F512 for 33 years and it has a great sound and the best action I've ever seen. Almost don't need an amp for this guitar. Really enjoy playing this guitar.

I'm at the apex of twelve-strings now, excepting some one-off boutiquey one someplace.
Sound
I think all twelve-string guitars sound a little "rattlely" in that keeping all twelve absolutely in tune is twice as difficult--further, the stress of twelve strings means that really light guage strings are used. Other than that, I think the F512 is the best; I took it out of the box and it sounded pretty good--with no set up!
Features
Built like a brick condo.
Ease of Use
As I said above, all twelve-strings are "hard" in that their neck is wider, the strings are doubled, so fretting takes more precision and strength, etc.
Quality
Really fine. The Antique Sunburst is beautifully finished.
Value
You have to pay for the best--and the F512 is arguably the best 12er
