This Guitar screams. Most of my other LP's and Jacksons have Dimarzio Super Distortions in the bridge and this thing blows them away. Dirty fingers pickups are extremely hot. Its very easy for this guitar to " get away " from you if not careful. The min-etune system leaves alot to be desired. Not very accurate and not easy to use live unless you have a phographic memory to memorize the entire manual. With that said, its easy to get " close " to the tuning you want, then fine tune from there. Out of the box the action was fine for me ( subjective from player to player )and intonation was dead on. Neck is extremely comfortable. If I were to get another, it would be without the tuning system. Throw a set of grovers on it and wail away! Gibson could have packaged it with a case, but they were being cheap. Like I said earlier, this guitar is not for the timid. Caution needs to be used as it can feedback very easy with the hot pickups.

I received my new 70's tribute ebony Les Paul today..The guitar was copletely set up a little high but that is a prefrence i prefure low action..The gutar had some minor flaws 3 of the 4 knobs were installed crooked. The min e-tuner is not perfect it maybe because the stings are new and need to stretch… The Dirty finger rock serious cool sound i like them. for the price its worth it …….

Great service! The website showed the guitar in stock, and I needed it in a couple of days. Ordered the express shipping and tracked it all the way to my door two days later. No review on the guitar is necessary (it was exactly as represented and plays like a broken-in champ straight from the factory). The Min-eTune was a new experience for me, but turned out to be pretty cool.

Musical Background:

Returning to the guitar after a 25-year hiatus (seeking to at least get back to my prior level of average hack)
