I've wanted a Les Paul for decades, but never got around to getting one, life kept getting in the way. I had a few customizations in mind for whenever I did get one. Was only recently I learned the 2013 Standard had all of the extras I wanted, stock (the coil-switching, out-of-phase, Grover locking tuners, AA top, the right color), but the 2014 model had a lot of changes that I didn't want (Klusons instead of Grovers, lack of fret-binding, different colors, etc). So I finally jumped.Wow! This is a beaut! A lot of reviews talked about Gibson's irregularness, that there were finish issues, buzzy frets, etc., so I was a little anxious while waiting on it to arrive, but my concerns were instantly alleviated. This guitar is beautiful, not a flaw. Plays *so* well out of the box. I still like my old Strat, but this Les Paul just has a wonderful feel to it. This guitar tuned right up and holds its tune. It's easy to play, and the nuances you can pull out of the guitar's options, without having any effects... impressive. No, it's not the cheapest guitar out there; but, it's a wonderful guitar, a genuine article. I mean, it's a Gibson Les Paul, right?

The sound, the feel, the look. Legendary. Out of the box it was almost perfect, a little tweak and i could not asked for a better Les Paul. The push/pull coil split, out of phase opens up a lot of options tone wise and the burstbuckers were what I was looking for. The locking tuners are a great touch also. Only negative is the case has a frayed stitch. Nothing I'm too worried about This is the second Les Paul I have purchased thru ZZOUNDS and always received great customer service and the price match could not be beat.

Best guitar i have EVER owned, i got mine is the prettiest color desert Burst. I reccemend it, HIGHLY reccemend it, very versitile.
Sound
The sound of this guitar is quite beautiful.. it can sound like Zepp's dirty blues, to Hendrix's signature stratocaster! This honestly fits any style of music.
Features
i love the push/pull knobs, that ws an awesome suprose. it can change the sound with a push or pull of a knob, and you can play a lot of different genres of music with it, without haveing to change your amp settings too often.
Ease of Use
This guitar is really easy if you know how to play it of course. I use mine through a Marshall amp, and the sound is pheniminal!
Quality
Gibson makes the best quality guitars in the entire world. mine was perfect, everything was correct and it was well put together.
Value
Defiantly worth the money. i can sound Like Jimmy Page all the way to Pink Floyd, this guitar is worth more than they're asking that is for sure. it's a great investment!

I just ordered this guitar with a Gibson maintenance kit and let me say, it it MUCH better if you call them and order. You can also say the promo code at the bottom of the screen for some cool discounts/offers. I was pretty satisfied with Zzounds. The guitar; I got mine in Desert Burst. I named her Sariah, and she is absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen a better looking standard guitar ever.
Sound
This guitar is so versatile, I can not put it down. The push/pull knobs are so awesome, I can play so many different songs without having to change the amp setting! It's got that classic warm Les Paul sound, and well worth the money. It is so versatile as well as gorgeous
Features
I think Gibson did great on this. They could've worked a tad better on the finish but still, it's beautiful in every way. The neck is what really made me buy it. I played one in Cherry Sunburst (which is also really really pretty!) with the same neck profile, and I knew from there I wanted it. I looked around and Zzounds was the best place for me.
Ease of Use
It's as easy as breathing. This guitar alone has more versatility and tone than any other guitar, but for multiple sounds it also depends on what amp and pedals you're using, and through those, this axe won't ever let you down. I'm keeping mine forever.
Quality
Quality? This is made from the best guitar company ever established, and it uses the finest woods and metals. This is a top-of-the-line guitar.
Value
This guitar is worth a lot more than the selling price. But don't let Gibson know.. It's almost too good for it's price tag. The best investment anyone could ever make
Manufacturer Support
I've never had to call them about anything. Maybe just to say hi
The Wow Factor
