I got this head and the matching cab as well. Right out of the box it's easy to set up and ready to rock. It has so many great pre-sets on it and I was impressed right off. I play 80's rock/metal mostly and there are many great pre-sets to use. The sound of this head with the cab is clear and crisp. I play a Charvel DC-ST1 through this and that is equipped with Seymour Duncan and it's a great match. The head is solidly built and looks great. This head is very easy to use and learn which is a big plus. You can change setting on pre-sets extremely easy. I haven't made ANY changed to the pre-sets because they are set up fantastic the way they are. I don't gig at all and this head had more power than I will ever need and just sounds great at any volume I have cranked up to. From Metallica to Boston to any kind of music you play this head will meet and exceed what you want. With many more pre-set available to download for the head this amp has umlimited capabilties. For the money you won't find a better head, If you are on a budget get this head and you won't be sorry. Everything from construction to sound is Fender all the way. It's got a 5 year warranty. This amp just kicks ass! Thanks to Zzounds for having this amp and the pay while you play! I won't buy anything ANYWHERE other than Zzounds!

Sound
Incredible replication of many classic amps....unlimited potential. I have been playing on and off for 20 years now and bought this to replace a Crate V50 Tube amp. I am very happy with the sound I am getting. I play country, southern rock, classic rock, and occassionally metal and this amp sounds good on all.
Features
Huge library of amps....good amount of effects. Came with 4 button footswitch. Gives me all I need for the studio or live playing. I packed up my pedal board.
Ease of Use
Manual is simple and straight forward, no problems programming the sounds I was looking for right out of the box. Very small learning curve.
Quality
It's Fender, enough said.
Value
Great amp for under 300!!!!
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to use it.
The Wow Factor
I own it!!!!

I am retired after serving 30 years in the US Army and now my age is 53, this should handle anything I need from now to my end and my daughters a great part of thier life. I tried the line 6 and thier is no comparision to the Fender Mustang, The Fender is much easier to use and to me the sound is so much better than anything I have eveer played. I like everything about this amp and will always buy Fender products the folks at Fender.com that I have personally spoke with has always treated me with the utmost respect and answered all of my questions with out even a snicker. They are the best....
Sound
WHat can I say it is Fender Quality, excellence at its best.
Features
This Amp head came with the 4 button foot switch for the initial price and is great. I had recently purchased a 120 watt line 6 amp and then after I recieved it I had to purchase a foot switch and contact line 6 for a owners manual. Buy Fender and you will never have this trouble, they stand behind thier products.
Ease of Use
This is pretty easy to use a couple of times watching the digital manual I am nit the beat with the new gadjets but I had this doing anything I wanted by afternoons end.
Quality
After I recieved this Amp I sold my 100 Watt Fender Stack and my Peavey and the Crates, with the quality and use ability of this Amp I fell I don't need to worry about a back up.
Value
When I purchased mine it was on sale, but after using this Amp head and speaker assy. I would now pay full price and not miss a beat.
Manufacturer Support
I have owned something Fender for over 40 years and they arevery hard to beat, this is why us Fender buyers are always return buyers.
The Wow Factor
It is a very practical addition to my set up, but hey this is a Fender Stack. What musician would not be proud to stand in front of anything built by Fender.

My Mustang V head had a weird "Burst of noise" on a certain setting, but the head was replaced and all is well... The Fender Mustang amps are pretty dang sweet. I have a Mustang II, a V head, and the Floor. Modeling has stepped it up a notch. Tweakable to no end using the FUSE software. Highly recommend that you use that software... You may think the amp is boring without it! Tonally, awesome, the cleans are great, love all the Fender and Vox sounds. AMAZING selection of effects, delays, modulations, etc. Including a very convincing Q Tron effect. VERY convincing Probably the best , most versatile amps on the market.

I ordered this head and received it I will two days ...haven't had alot of time with it yet but it seems to perform well. I play alot of older country and southern rock so I don't think I will have need for all the really "dirty" pre-sets, but they are there and it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. For the price I couldn't imagine any better. Also, zzsounds....I will definitely be a return customer...

With the interface and being able to play so many different sounds this is a keeper. If someone stole it I would buy another you can not find a better price DSP amp for the money PERIOD !!! I have found several of the blues sounds I have been looking for. Hey got a small apartment plug in headphones and go, but this amp is loud !!
Sound
Just bought this a about 3 weeks ago. The sound is awesome I run all my Heads through a pair of 2X12 Super Sonics with vintage 30's. I play blues and some of the metal tones I am not crazy about , now here's the kicker with the fender fuse interface software you can change any channel to what you want. Kudos to Fender on that.
Features
Comes with the fender 4 button foot switch and the on board tuner is great and fast to tune even through the foot pedal. Comes with your speaker cables and fender fuse CD download. * Note look for your updates *
Ease of Use
To much to say about the software again . If your looking for a sound get on your computer and set it or use the screen on the head trust me your sound is in there.
Quality
Seems solid built, great carbon fiber looking cover.
Value
All I can say is there anything out there for the price where you can get this sound NO !!!!! and ZZounds is the best.
Manufacturer Support
Most all my equipment is fender, super sonic head two super sonic cabs strat tele what can you say. Had trouble with a fender hot rod deluxe but just found a connect joint bad. Fender is still my main choice.
The Wow Factor
Smooth Cover looks good. Well worth the money

So I needed an amp, and ended up buying this because the price was really ideal. First of all, the head is built very sturdy and a very good BEGINNER amp. I for one found many problems with this amp. When switching between channels there is a split second of no sound, (almost like a quick killswitch) so any effect transition will be delayed during the switch-over. A plus is building your own effects, and many of the preset effects sound really good. BUT if you think you're going to be running your pedals you are sadly mistaking. This amp is a feedback monster. Even if you build a completely clean effect on the amp your pedal no matter what volume will still feedback nasty. With all this being said, I returned it 2 weeks later.

Great sounding head, but, when I asked the salesman if I could use the left speaker out as a mono out to send to my cab; he answered yes. After I recieved the head I found out that there is no mono speaker out. You have to run the head in stereo. To me this does not make the head versatile... now I have to wait until I can afford the fender cab that they make for it, which is a four 10" heavy beast. I was hoping I could use the head at practice with a single 12" cab and at gigs use my two 12" mono cab. Come on Fender! Put a mono speaker out option on this thing!!!

I was disappointed to see this product was made in China. I wish Fender would only put their name on USA products maybe the Mexican made also. It is a good value for the money. I am impressed with how far DSP has come. The clean tube amp models are some of the best I have heard. However no match for my 1968 Super Reverb. But this thing shines on dirty and all out distortion. I use it with two to three other tube amps and it is a sonic compliment. Very useful live and surprisingly takes pedals well. Should have thought ahead and configured so you could set the amp up or tilt forward. I will be building new cab and redo chassis for this purpose. Well I have to say I like it. Make the thing in Mexico at least Fender come on!
