I've owned many bass amps through the years, some more powerful,others more expensive. This head has alot of punch for the buck. It has alot of features that amps costing alot more would have. Compression, effects loop and direct out to the p.a. just to name a few. I play it through an 8 ohm Peavey 4x10 TVX bottom and it is plenty for use in any gig situation.
