Sound: I sounds surprisingly good both plugged and unplugged. Very rich and colorful tone at the bottom and middle, though the upper range is somewhat lifeless. Feature: It's a surprisingly good looking instrument. It's actually the best looking guitar I own by a wide margin, and all out of a Chinese import. Things have changed some in the 14 years since the last time I bought an acoustic guitar. Quality: While it's a good looking choice of materials and looks very sharp at first glance, deeper scrutiny reveals why this is a low-priced instrument. In particular, the frets aren't installed very well, and are too pointy at the edges. Particularly down toward the bottom of the neck. It's quite difficult to clean without tearing the cloth to shreds, and I'm not looking forward to seeing what humidity changes will do to it over time. Fortunately it was cheap enough that I don't have to be too worried about it. Value: This is a good value-priced instrument. I'm not particularly wealthy, and I don't get to play expensive instruments. As cheap instruments go, this is one of the best I've ever played. It really sounds much better than I expected at this price, and it looks good too. The Wow Factor: It was more a practical addition than anything else, but I do think I'll be doing more with it than I imagined I would when I bought it. Overall: I'll play it until I wear it out. I expect it to wear well, except that it may need a fret job before its time.
