Sound: strings don't hold the note. They are hard, I think it's due to the coating. They didn't last although I play alot. If I get 1-2 months out of a set I think I am doing well. For the price I think you are better buying a martin and getting 4 sets and changing strings more often. i am very picky and I love the sound of new strings. Ease of Use: The end of one of the stringss broke off while I was stringing. Thats a pain. I could still use the string by wrapping it around the peg. Quality: had a bad string. the knob at the end of the string broke off. I have been playing for 40 years and have never had that happen Value: no Manufacturer Support: first time ever using the strings Overall: already changed them

Sound: These are the most expensive acoustic guitar strings I ever bought. Got them because I thought like the advertising said that my guitar would sound better, and the brightness would last longer. Wrong. These are the WORST strings I have ever heard. I had some ancient Martin bronze strings on my Ovation 12 that sounded amazing. Very brassy, kind of like a zither, or hammered dulcimer. The second I put on the Elixers, my guitar sounded completly dead! No overtones at all - like playing cheap strings made out of plastic. Value: What's the point? Spending twice as much for awful dead sounding strings. Save your money, and buy something half the price that's better.
