My Plans Are To But The Crown XTi4000 next to Drive My Bass/Sub Bass............ Bridged. Bass driven Omnidirectional Will Pound US d:)
Sound
This amp is incredible, I use it as our home stereo, and do play out for family and friends. We have had people approximately 1 mile from our last party tell us they could hear it clearly, one was on top of the mountain, and the others we're down by the river. For 2000 watts - everyone loved it.
Features
If you have a brain you can figure this out. Programable, with pre-sets. NICE! Nice features.
Ease of Use
Read the manual, and experiment. Any problems you can't figure out call Crown they will help. Of course there is a learning curve, agains it's not that complicated if you read the manual.
Quality
VERY VERY NICE DESIGN AND FOR THE MONEY EXCELLENT QUALITY
Value
Great Value For The Money!
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had any problems, but I have read Crown is there for you when you need them.
The Wow Factor
Clean Look, Stand Out Front Cover.... What Can I Say. NICE!

"Full-featured, professional quality amplifier."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

I plan to use these amps for many years. I've compared the XTi series against Crown's XLS line and against similarly (and lower) priced competitors products. The Crown specs, warranty, features, and reputation make this a great amp for the long haul.
Sound
I use two XTi 2000 on stage monitors and they sound great. They're not totally transparent - seem to be a little heavier on the low end than high right out of the box, but after some tweaking of the internal EQ they sound great. I love the built-in limiter and the DSP functionality. Makes it easy to set up for monitor use.
Features
Excellent features for this price point: DSP, Limiter, HiQNet, Speak-on connectors, and much lighter than the amps they replaced.
Ease of Use
As far as connecting the amp goes, its a breeze. Navitating the DSP menu from the faceplate is a little time consuming. I love the fact, though, that I can download the software (HiQ Net System Architect 2.3) and plug the USB into my laptop and make adjustments that way. Very easy to change settings "on the fly."
Quality
The product functionality is great. I have two XTi 2000 and there is a small variation between the two on the bend of the handles on the faceplate. Nothing major, and only off by about 1/8". I would recommend to Crown that the power switch be upgraded. While I have never had a problem with the switches, they "feel" a bit under spec'd for an amp in this price range. That said, I know a guy who has two of these and has used them regularly for three years with no problem.
Value
I bought these as b-stock with full Crown no-fault warranty, so the value is excellent. Even at full price they are competitive and a good value.
Manufacturer Support
I have not personally had the opportunity to use their support, but have heard mostly good things about them. I hope to never need to find out just how good they are.
The Wow Factor
The "I want it" factor is fairly high for me with these amps. The brushed aluminum face, blue LEDs, and overall design are attractive and look great in the amp rack. They're functional AND ornamental.

"Outstanding Powerful Clear Sound"

Hopefully won't be looking for any other amps. Have two XTi 2000 and two XTi 1000 amps. Should be plenty
Sound
Lightweight, crystal clear sound, and outstanding performance!
Features
Great to be able to download the speakers to match the amps. I use the JBL JRX series speakers. Downloaded speaker files and configured the best sound ever
Ease of Use
Some more advanced features that might intimidate some users, but allow for customization of your overall sound to fit your needs
Quality
I have had three of these amps for almost two years. Never a bad show because of these amps. Stay extremely cool even during outside performances in the summer heat in Phoenix Arizona
Value
Very good pricing and quality for the money
Manufacturer Support
Wrote customer service once about configurations. Answered within a few days. Have to have a Windows based system to use Band Manager. Should be a Mac OS X version of this software considering how many people in the music industry use Macs
The Wow Factor
It's completely sexy! Makes us sound better and even look better....

"In short, the Crown XTI power amps are packed full of features that can easily be utilized by amateurs as well as professionals."

Hope they never wear out but if they do, I will buy Crown again.
Sound
I run sound for a band my boys play in. They've been at it for going on 4 years and it was time to upgrade their PA. Going from cheap powered mains to passive is without a doubt, the way to go. I built a custom rack and purchased 3 of these Crown XTI 2000 amps. They are considerably lighter than any amp I have seen so I can easily manage the rack by myself. The DSP functions are user friendly and the band manager software you can download from Harman lets you easily monitor your entire rack and customize DSP functions from your laptop. Link as many together as you wish with short xlr jumpers and your off and running. The power is what you would expect from a manufacturer like Crown as is the dynamic range they offer. Our main objective was to upgrade to a system capable of handling small to medium venues both indoors and out, mic all instruments and be able to reproduce vocals and instruments with definition and clarity. The combination of a Mackie board, a Behringer 6200 ultragraph, these Crown amps and JBL speakers has allowed us to achieve our objectives. I have a total of 4 JBL JRX125 towers and 2 JBL JRX118 subs running off all three of these amps. 6,000 watss.... A superior upgrade!
Features
You get a heavy duty power cord and manual. Would be nice if all rack mount equipment manufacturers would include rack mount screws. Maybe some do but Crown does not. The DSP functions are very useful especially when you want to switch an amp from running mains to subs. With built in preset and custom cross over settings there is no need for separate sub crossovers.
Ease of Use
The power speaks for itself coupled with DSP, the amp can be personalized very easily for a variety of situations. The user interface is very user friendly as is the manual.
Quality
These amps seem to be made very well. I love the brushed aluminum finish on the face. They seem to be rugged enough to handle road/touring conditions provided you install them in a rack of some sort to protect them.
Value
Based upon the quality, power and functionality this amp is worth the typical $700 that most retailers are selling it for. Like I said, I bought 3 of these amps and my timing couldn’t have been better. The new XTI2002 amps were just coming out and most all retailers were clearing their inventory of the XTI2000s. I paid only $429 a piece… which is a steal!
Manufacturer Support
Haven’t had the amps long enough to require service.
The Wow Factor
The face on these amps are very appealing, as is the lighted display panel and illuminated level indicators for each channel. Put three of these in a rack with a Furman power conditioner on top (pull out lights) and you have a nice Christmas tree for your stage. All the packed features coupled with the price made these purchases a no brainer. Had to have them!
