The Blackstar Series One 200 is a high-gain beast of an amp. With four KT88 tubes offering 200 watts of face-melting power, the Series One 200 rocks.

I think this is a keeper, I intend to play with almost fulltime, the way it's built it should last.
Sound
I have been playing guitar for +30 years. For last 10 yrs I have been AB switching Cleans on Fender Deville and Leads Marshall JCM2000 TSL. Love that setup. The Blackstar has cleans as good as the Deville (probably one of the best out there). The crunch and leads of the Series One 200 will make shiver with pleasure. The dynamics are super articulate and extremelly flexible. Blows any Marshall out of the water
Features
Midi switchable, super simple to setup. Sweet spot is very easy to get, even at different venues (Resonance, Presence, and mostly the ISF knob). I am in love with this feature.
Ease of Use
If an old fart like me can set this monster up (midi switches and sweet spot) in less than 10 minutes, then anyone can...
Quality
I have already punished this big guy a good beat, and can attest that it is built like a British Tank.
Value
For the money, can't think of a better choice.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't used Blackstar's support, now the guys at ZZounds were very helpful shipping this thing out overnight to a hotel in Vegas... I was very releived to see it arrive 1 day early.
The Wow Factor
Looks awesome, especially those big KT88's
