The XENYX 1204FX has 12 inputs and 2 Aux Sends for each channel. Additionally, 2 multi-functional stereo Aux Returns have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The new XENYX Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps. Neo-classic "British" EQ brings back the warmth and musicality of those '60s and '70s mega-console desks that made music history. The XENYX FX mixers incorporate a new studio-grade 24-bit FX processor. Learn More...

5 out of 10Feature:
Four lo-z inputs are great for a small combo. On-board FX, portability, two stereo inputs, slide pots, one pre- & post- switchable aux send and one post aux send are all great features. Plus, the stereo to USB converter for recording is just great! Incredible for what it costs.
Quality:
I have to ding Behringer a bit here...I had to return my mixer due to an intermittant Aux send 1 channel. It cut out during a performance and the Aux send 1 pot would only function properly if I pressed down on it. Nasty little symptom in the middle of a performance. This should have been found at the factory.
Value:
Well worth it...if it doesn't have a defect.
Desirability:
It is indeed a practical addition, but it is pretty cool looking.
Sound:
The channels are nice and clean. The eq's are really nice and warm sounding as advertised. The FX choices are good and I will use several based on different rooms I perform in.
Ease of Use:
easy to use IF you understand the features you have and where they are located.
Support:
Unknown, but the dealer's return policy is such that I could return it in 45 days and get a replacement. That is nice.
Overall:
I will use this a lot...both for live performance and for recording. It is not the total solution for home multi-track recording, but for what it costs, it is very nice. I just fear that it may not hold up, considering the initial quality issue described above.
