Feature:
It is quite complete and as a bonus it looks great! Especialy for the money! It even has a side-chain possibility. For this prise asking for more options would be rediculous!

Quality:
Looks solid. No problems so far.

Value:
Boughtine second hand for 50 Euro. But even new it would be excellent value for the money

Sound:
Very complete for an affordable price It sounds very transparent thanks to the high pass filter and enhancer. Due to a history in radio I've become used (addicted?!) to heavy processed audio. I use this Behringer in my home studio. Even with quite heavy compression the music keeps sounding bright and fresh, instead of turning it into a squashed mumbo-jumbo. Delicate vocals or hi-hat are as bright (or even brighter) as without. After some experimenting with settings I turned the "interactive" switch of. Turning it on made the sound somewhat dull. In the of mode a drum has more "kick" and "punch". Only negative point I found was an annoying click, when engaging the "couple" switch.

Overall:
Nice and fresh sounding pice of gear!

this was my first hardware compressor unit. if it weren't for the price of Behringer stuff, I wouldn't be able to afford a lot of hardware gear. I look at it as a reflection of middle-to-lower tier sound reproduction gear, you know like home stereos, so B's not the greatest quality, but it's great someone is doing that niche as well as they. my only concern is in how durable the Behringer stuff is ove the long run, so im kinda extra-gentle wit it. The manuals are great, and it was a big help in learning to use the com for its multide uf uses. the first thing I probably learned is that I need at least 4 more compressors! ~zeit
