This thing sounds great and can really do what it's touted to do and then some. I've found a lot of great uses for it and it has not failed me in any of them. The only thing that bothered me about the unit (which by the way Behringer has corrected for me anyway) is that it shipped with a version 1.2 EEPROM which will not allow you to control the unit via midi software that they provide. Behringer sent me a new verion 1.3 EEPROM and I've installed it. The software that Behringer provides to control the unit, upon use, seems very choppy (at least on my system), meaning that it does not control the unit smoothly, and I'm waiting on a reply from Behringer on this.
Other than that, controlling the unit from the front panel is fairly simple once you get the hang of it and this unit kills once you get it down. I remastered an EP Demo tape with it to burn the Tunes to CD. The unit put life and punch into the tunes and totally eliminated tape hiss in the process. The tape I remastered was very dull sounding to begin with. Coming from the CD it sounds fresh out of the studio. As I said, once you get the hang of the thing it kills! Just hoping I can get the midi control to work properly.
