Feature:
Absolutely unbelievable funtionality for the money. Simply blows the competition out of the water altogether. Most units costing twice as much don't come close to this unit.

Feature:
This is about as good as it gets. Has line-level inputs (2) on the back and (1) hi-z gtr input on the front. Very easy to operate. I did have a problem with Sonar recording. By default, it chose the adat inputs. I had to go into Sonar's panel to tell it to use the stereo pairs option before I could record. The driver software is very nice. It's soooo nice not to have to think about device syncing or sample rate. The driver seems to take care of it for you.

Quality:
The unit is a bit bigger than I expected but not bad at all. It sits on the desk nicely. One thing that's missing are rubber feet. I installed some of these myself and now it sits rock-solid on the desk. As I said earlier, the sliders/knobs feel a bit lightweight and breakable although it's held together well so far.

Value:
This thing is worth far more than I paid for it. To be able to get a good sound card that'll take 3 channels of analog, spdif and/or ADAT lightpipe is just unbelievable. However, don't even think about raising the price. <g>

Desirability:
It's very usable. The layout, colors, and graphics on the casing really looks nice. Much better than Behringer's mixers look, IMHO.

Sound:
The pres sound really good. The only thing I don't like (so far) is when you turn the built-in limiter on, a bass gtr will yield distortion pretty easy. Overall, it sounds wonderful.

Support:
I'm rating this one a bit low since I've not had to have any real support from the company. The one thing I didn't like was upgrading the driver. There are no instructions and no auto-install script for upgrades. You have to just know to copy everything to the c:\windows\system32 directory.

Overall:
This thing definitely raises the bar in my opinion. The rest of the vendors have a long way to go to catch up with the usability, not to mention the price. Keep it up, guys.

Feature:
Lots of great features for something this price. Very user-friendly interface. Interface is much more versatile than my TC Helicon firewire interface, but the sound isn't as good.

Quality:
Quality seems excellent for the money.

Value:
Amazing for the price, really.

Sound:
Sound is excellent for the money - not quiet like advertised, but fine if you don't overdrive the inputs.

Ease of Use:
The interface is pretty user-friendly, once I figured out how latency works, and all that, a few obstacles. Didn't like having to reinstall several times because XP didn't recognize it. Tried many things over several weeks to overcome DROPOUT problems, and one day discovered the perfect solution by accident. If I disabled my internet connection (radio controller) while using it, I never again had a dropout! This was a REVELATION!

Support:
I've had nothing but positive experiences with their support numbers and emails.

Overall:
I've made several recordings with this thing, some of which are good and some of which are mediocre. We made a CD for a church fundraiser that is still selling well after a year.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
The device is packed with features, though there could be others that are missing. For example, of the 8 input and output chanels, 6 of them are for digital devices to be connected with ADAT or S/PDIF, etc. Only 2 chanels are useable on analog devices. It does a very good job at that though.

Quality:
It seems to be quite good quality (though I haven't had it for a long time yet). The body (made of strong plastic) does seem a little less sturdy than I would like, but still nice. The sound qulity is amazing though.

Value:
For the low price it is IMPOSSIBLE to find an 8 chanel USB audio interface, let alone one with the built in functions this has. It is really designed well for the beginner home recording hobbiest. Works well for what it's made.

Desirability:
The look and design of the BCA 2000 is appealing (of course you can tell all this from the pictures).

Sound:
The sound quality is great. It has 24 bit and 96kHz for sampleing. Very high quality and clean sound. It is a great sounding interface for computer based recording.

Ease of Use:
It takes a little bit to set up and get usd to, but once you understand the functions of the device it's use is very natural. The controls allow you to do quite a bit. Many people seem to have had problems with the Drivers for Windows XP. All I can say is that Behringer fixed that problem recently with a new set of drivers available on their web site and it now works flawlesly, so it's good to go!

Support:
I had to work a few things out with Behringer concerning the new drivers for Windows as well as linking the BCA 2000 to the ADA 8000 via ADAT. I asked several questions to Behringer support (online) and received detailed accurate answers back less than a day later.

Overall:
I would have given the BCA 2000 a "10" ranking overall but I wish it had more than just 2 chanels of analog inputs and less of the digital ones (6 of the total 8). Everything else is a perfect ten. Very much worth the purchase.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
saying about pros and cons, i got one of the cons: i expected that BCA2000 could give me a possibility to record 3 channels simultaneously. it does, but just mixing them and putting in a computer as one stereo input (or 2 mono). fortunatelly, i don't know, why i would ever need to record more than 2 channels simultaneously. :)

Quality:
looks nice and firm. i'm not gonna use it on the road, so it's hard to me to imagine to break it. it's really a little bigger, than it seems on a picture, but not too much.

Value:
it beats any of the similar products i know.

Desirability:
i suppose BCA2000 is more convenient, than a number of similar external devices. USB 2.0 interface lets get a performance of the fast connection. with the latest drivers i got 2 ms latency (96KHz/24bit playback).

Sound:
i'm satisfied how it sounds. i use ROLAND DM10 studio monitors connected by both analog and digital connectors, and AKG K240S. i'm not a great listener, so it's like good for me.

Support:
used once. when i was worrying about its release date. they answered enough quickly and thoroughly. actually, i've been waiting for this device long-long time (almost one year). but at least i have it :).

Overall:
i'm very proud to have such a device. it's supposed to be a central thing in my studio, and it is now. i like it and hope it'll serve me for a long long time.

Feature:
The mobility and convenience is the best feature.

Desirability:
They should have built this thing a bit smaller. It could have used a few more analog inputs.

Sound:
It sounds fine.

Support:
Have had no need to call the company, and it appears I will not have a need.

Overall:
I am vvery excited about having it. The portability really does it for me. This is my first writing of a review, the other reviews really suck, they really seem like a bash session. Installation was easy, the driver update is a must. Make sure you check the dimensions, this thing is bigger than it seems!

Feature:
I bought this because of the many features and the posibility of being able to use them all. For me it would be everything and more than i need. But it just wont work with my computer or hs4xl! Im going to return this from where i bought it, i havnt had it more than 2 weeks. I'm going to try the m-audio firewire 410 even though i have read some of the bad reviews for it. It seems the bad reviews are pointed towards using the mac with the 410. I have a pc and am going to give it a try hopefully it will work but i dont and wont know until i hook it up to my computer. when i get the 410 i will lay down a review for it good or bad! cause im not trying to sell anything!

Quality:
Its pretty rugged tough plastic besides the knobs their a little flimsy. If it worked for me i would rate higher.

Value:
I dont value that high becuase it hasnt worked the way i was hoping it would. But like i said it looks nice the features to price ratio is unbeatable. i just wished it would have worked! for me anyway.

Desirability:
Its like this: Some people say sex aint everything its whats inside that counts and this is very true for this product(bca2000) Its not my computers or recording softwares soulmate!!! They just dont go together. their not a match!!!

Sound:
Look Im not a behringer sales person and do not work for any other audio company i am a real homestudio/project owner of the bca2000! With that said, the sound is fine when it plays but it has never ran for more than a minute!!! I have had this thing for a week and half and everytime i try to play or record or both at the same time the audio unexpectingly dropsout it doesnt matter if it is one track or 4 or 5 tracks it drops out and this is only from 1 input! It puts a real damper on the cpu load because usb and this is just from when im trying to just 1track, it just drains the cpu! I am using the new cakewalk hs4xl and i am a pc user. I own a compaq presario 2585us with 2.80GHz and i have 760ram. My computer meets the specs for the software and the bca2000. Still it just does not work with my computer i have tweaked with my computer total in the past week about 40 or 50 hours and still cant fix the problem. I have got support from both cakewalk and behringer only to tell me what i have already done to try to fix what is wrong. If your someone who is reading this and knows how to fix it, well im glad you know but i dont and this thing(bcontrol/bca2000)has been a nightmare, a pain in the rear-end, just one big headache!!!

Support:
I rate inbetween they have responded via email but only with what i have already done to try to fix what is wrong with mine and hs4xl and computer settings. Im not exact it is the driver issue like everyone else has compained of but i could be. i dont know. and dont know what else to try to fix the problem after 40-50 hours of system tweaks in the past week.

Overall:
almost 2 weeks i have tried to use this thing without results. I dont have the time or energy or money to mess around with it anymore because I have to return within 30days of purchase to get money back or a credited trade in for some other audio interface. Sorry bca2000 money dont grow on trees if i had the money i might wait to see if another driver update would fix the problem but i dont. sorry!
