Feature:
It's a speaker with amps. The EQ works well and helps with the acoustics of the platform.

Quality:
It is a speaker that looks nice, seems durable, never had an issue with it for the use I need it for.

Value:
I happen to like the thing. I have heard the JBL Eon 15 and am not impressed. Granted they have a tight sound in the mids to uppers, but sound like powerful shelf speakers. I personally like the PA sound from a speaker. That is what you get from the B300. If you want to expand sound, buy a BBE enhancer and plug it in. The B300 can handle it. If you want a product you need to buy a product for your needs. This product suits my needs. Good product, great bang for the buck. This company does give you a product that will fit most consumers needs. We are not all Aerosmith and don't need to be oversold by some "high end companies". Beside of which , don't really sound or perform any better than any body else. As a goo friend of mine says, "you never know what anyone else is hearing".

Desirability:
It looks good and is practical for me.

Sound:
I have a hard time giving top marks for anything.I use one on the platform at my church and it works fine. I think that it sounds natural and clear. Plenty of sound for the choir and soloists.

Ease of Use:
Simple to use. I did find that a low noise guitar cable works far better than speaker cable when connecting to the mixer. (Hum with speaker cable - no hum with guitar cable )

Support:
no clue - never needed them

Overall:
It does what I need it to do.

Quality:
Typical of Behringer...amazing value for the money. Really hard to beat

Sound:
Have used Mackie and JBL, still own the JBL's. These are almost as clean as the Mackie, and frankly, I like them better than the JBL's. Power to spare, for me. One pair does 1000 seats, two pairs will power 1500 - seat venues.

Support:
I own a few Behringer products, and have never had to contact support on anything from them at this point.

I own three of the B300s, and a fourth one will be on it's way soon. They're incredibly versatile, but heavy! There is only one way to carry them -everything else throws out your back if you don't have a roadie. Quality and reliability are excellent. One of my HF drivers got dammaged at a gig (plugged something faulty into the PA and the HF driver popped: dead high frequencies. But to my surprise, getting help and a free repair from Behringer was no problem: The B300 came back repaired within ONE WEEK. I was stunned. You will love these speakers, regardless if you're using them for vocals, keyboards, or a virtual guitar system (hook up a Roland VG88 and see what you've been missing!). Recommended!

I have two B300 I use for my Roland Vrum kit and often plug keyboards and vocals in as well. These are clearly the best value when comparing to JBL and Mackie in terms of performance and price. No noise with the gain maxed out so I can control the gain from my TD-8 controller. The EQ's HF and LF points are centered at 12kHz and 80Hz - much more useful and effective than the competition using 10kHz and 100Hz. Being an audiophile, the sound quality was very important to me. Being a musician the sound pressure level and clarity was also very important. I am very pleased, and so is the rest of my band.

Note that the Vdrum TD-8 has unbalanced outputs, so when using two of the B300s in stereo (stereo out L/R from the TD-8) you will need to convert the TD-8 unbalanced outputs to balanced in order to overcome the ground loop noise issues over long cable runs, or use a ground loop eliminator, or a mixer(with balanced outputs for the best performance). When running two B300s daisy-chained from the mono TD-8 output there is no ground loop issue and conversion is not necessary, max gain no hiss or noise with your ear right in the speaker! Most gigs do not need stereo drums so this mode is useful. I thought that having mixing capability on the PA would be useful - but think about it, a separate mixer is much more practical to use - one cannot reach the PA's controls when on the stand - I would rather put the $$ in the LF and HF drivers, power amps and enclosure - which is where Behringer put it.

I rated this speaker a 5 on all counts because of it's overall quality and value. It is clean, punchy, and precise. It may not be the "best" powered speaker out there, but it provides allot of bang for the buck. The only negative is the slight background hum which is negated with moderate volume. If you have a need for powered speakers, buy these!

I did several comparisons of the Makie, EON G2s, and Yamaha's powered speakers. And while the Behringers were a close third choice in sound, they led the pack in value. If budget permits I still recommend the Mackies, but considering I can have 4 of these for the price of one pair of SRM450s the decision was a no brainer for me. So quiet I use them as stereo speakers in my house when I am not using them with the band.

Feature:
I love this speaker, because I am able to use it as an onstage monitor and then use it for a FOH speaker for smaller events. Very versatile.

Quality:
I've had it about 3 months and have had no problems, I am very pleased with the sound quality.

Value:
With a sound and quality that competes with the JBL Eon for half the price, you can't go wrong...

Desirability:
Looks good, yet small enough to be unobtrusive on stage as a monitor.

Sound:
This speaker sounds great, we also have a pair of the JBL Eons and these little speakers compete on every level, for a cheaper price too!

Support:
I haven't worked with the company...

Overall:
I am very pleased with this purchase, I researched about 2 months before buying this product and was glad I did.

Very low hum when no audio being sent. Have only had the volume to 1/3 max and you'd have to wear ear plugs to go higher. If you want a powered PA, I picked this over the JBL EON 15". Couldn't tell them apart sound quality wise, but saved a bundle on cost.

I have been a mobile DJ for 30 years and because the average fuction has now got smaller the Behringer B300 is the perfect choice for power and full range sound,in a compact if not heavy enclosure.

Feature:
Not much to it.

Quality:
I've had some problems with the Hi-Frequeny drivers. I ended up buying 3 of them. Currenlty only one is working at 100%. Dissapointing for such a good speaker.

Value:
Bang for the buck. But you get what you pay for.

Desirability:
Very sharp looking unit.

Sound:
Comparable with Makie or JBL

Support:
I have to ship my speakers to Seattle to have them repaired. At my cost. Its cheaper for me to have them fixed here but am voiding the warranty by doing so. What to do!

Overall:
I'm allready looking for replacements. Will probably go with the Samson db500A.

Feature:
The speakers are built in such a way that if you sit them on a flat stage and someone bumps them in front, they may fall over backwards!!! This is because they are set up (with a very poor cabinet design, in my opinion) to be used sitting upright OR leaning back to function as a monitor speaker. They have a "little tiny footprint", compared to how far they stick out in back of the speaker to accomodate the monitor position legs. This is a constant source of aggrivation to me as I drive to the gig and my speakers keep shifting around in the back of my van on the way! Although this is not a problem at the gig if you use them on speaker stands (I usually do), it's something to consider if you usually place your speakers on the ground. This is probably my only major gripe about these units. By the way, if you want your speakers on stands and you don't have someone to help you lift and place them, plan on spending lots of time and energy trying to get the pole into the stupid pole-mount hole under the speaker, as well as an inevitable occasional smashed finger. On a lighter note, the EQ (just 2 band) is quite musical, and when I'm playing bass, the low EQ makes a big difference in the sound of the bass patch. Also the high EQ can really help adjust for a "ringing" or "thudy" room.

Quality:
They seem to be made like a tank! I've not had any trouble with the ones I have now. I bought one in "Blem" condition however, and that one worked for about a week and then just made a "pop" and stopped working. However to be fair, when it first arrived, I was already suspect. These speakers have a MASSIVE piece of metal on the back, I assume to mount them to a wall in a permanent setup. The metal is probably at least 1/8" thick. I think a Mack truck could run over this piece of metal without damaging it. Well, on the "Blem" unit I received, this huge hulk of metal was very badly bent in toward the speaker. I can only assume that the company that sold me the unit must have dropped it from a very high place to incur such damage (perhaps from an airplane). Judging from the dent, I'm surprised that it even worked at all! Anyway, that unit was returned, and I bought a new unit to replace it, which has been a real gem.

Value:
I think Behringer probably has the best powered speaker in it's price range. If money were no object (or less of one), I would go for Mackie equipment, but Mackie's powered speakers start at about twice the price and go up from there. Someone commented in an earlier review that he used the Behringers as home stereo speakers when not playing with the band. Although I've not tried that, they certainly would pass the audiophile test. When we play background CD's during breaks, the sound is every bit as good as my expensive home stereo, and loud enough to carry through a decent sized hall. Also, I always get comments from the audiences about how clean our band sounds when I use these speakers. We play jazz, standards, showtunes, soft rock, etc. so we're looking for a crisp, sparkling sound, and these speakers deliver.

Desirability:
If it were lighter and shaped a bit better, more stable when sitting on a flat floor, and could be turned up to full gain without the annoying hum, it might be close to the perfect unit for medium-sized gigs!

Sound:
The sound is "transparent", as Behringer says. It just doesn't distort at all. Sound is crystal clear. When I'm not using them for mains for my PA setup, I take one in place of my keyboard amp. Since I frequently kick bass while playing gigs, the dual amplifiers (High/Low) in the B300's keep the bass thumping through even when I'm doing a lot of string patches, horns, etc. on the top end. A normal keyboard amp (most don't have bi-amp setup) sounds great UNTIL I start playing heavy on the top end. Then the bass changes from punchy to whimpy mud! The Behringers just keep on pumping that bass regardless of what's going on in the high end, and are a much better solution than dragging a keyboard amp AND a bass amp to each gig! I've owned t
