"Saves money, time and sound"
I have used many gadgets on stage and recording, and this tiny fellow is a very special item among my secret weapons. I was looking for a USB interface and just picked this up by chance -and the low price- and got shocked after I set it up and played through. Real transparent sounding. Easy to to use. Wide range of possibilities. I recorded and played mics (mostly dynamic SM58's), bass guitar (both electric and acoustic with XLR output), guitars (semi acoustic, semi classic, miced and electric) and it necer went wrong. On recording situations the mono channel caused some problems I must say. Wish it was stereo or wish I had two of them I said a many times; but on live situations this lovely piece is unbeatable -again stereo effects are lost, but no probs!-. Playing a cheap Cort bass through an old Sonakord amp, this device lets you produce sounds as if you are playing a 68 Fender. Really unbeliavable. The tube warms up quickly and keeps stable sounding for long hours of gigs. I just don't turn off the device on breaks to preserve the lamb (tube) from wearing down due to temperature change and strongly reccomend you to so. And to keep the unit going for a longer life, I pay extra attention in not moving it (de-cabling and packing) before it cools down. I switch it off, ask for a drink and wait at least half an hour before touching it. Maybe I am too obsessive or maybe I like drinking a lot :)))So short in short: perfect in live playing whether with or without an amp; more than "not bad" on recording. Don't let the price or brand mistake you. Get one. Get used to controlling the switches. You are in heaven. The sound improvement with this investment can only be achieved with extra $$$ investment to instruments and amps. Saves life.

Sound
The sound is great, very warm and i dont have a huge setup..i am getting a pro daw but even on my stock soundcard from a 2003 computer the thing makes a great recording and i dont have very expensive mics either...i can only imagine what it would make that sound like. I simply do vocal recordings and have this thing as a usb interface with a mic going into it and then it goes into my computer, recording with cool edit pro 2.0
For having decent equipment and then using this thing...it makes everything sound warm and smooth especially after mixing it correctly post-recording. If you want to get this u will not be sorry.

Overall this product as i said surpasses its price range...the sound quality is magnificent even for professional who has no room in his car to put a machine twice the size of his car!...remember keep it simple but as the same time with exellent quality this gives of both of both worlds

I'm quite new to the game but this machine is exellent when i say exellent i mean it is the sound tone is warm especially with the MXL .2003 microphone get it!!!!!you won't regret it
Features
It's features is above average but the downfall is there is only one mic input it heats up quite easily...but hey don't let that get you down it's very descrete for recording and u got feature like limit xtra gain and more u can read the product info ;)
Ease of Use
it is easy plug and play more like plug in your computer via usb to usb and connect your mic turn on phantom power if need and set it to you preferance and there u go record to your hearts content
Quality
im 50/50 on this as it seems to heat up on mine but maybe its cuz i use it a long time..on the road this is great buy a case for it or something if you really wanna take care of it....but you decide i know ur gonna get it;) for people startin that is

i mean there are alot more expensive one out there but your missing the point of recording you wanna make it sound like the best quality and this gives you the best that surpasses it's price range remember that
