The AI-3 is a very good Lightpipe converter solution to front end lightpipe cards like the M-Audio DIO 2496, RME Hammerfall, and Lexicon cards. The sound quality is excellent especially considering the price. I chose AI-3 over Tango because the AI-3 has a -10/+4 dB switch...the Tango use a jumper inside the box. Also the AI-3 has no wall-wart...the Tango does.
