A ok unit for budget laser, more suited for in home use rather then for small dance club or mobile dj use etc.

Features
Does have some nice features & is well built unit. However its also the dimmist class IIIa laser I'm aware of. Visibility of the beam itself and of images on wall are no more then 1/2 the visibility & brightness of the Ameba green laser carried by holoshop.com for $100 more plus many more patterns. On the plus side, the amer dj krypto sync green is just a little brighter then the laservibe.com red laservibes. So in this sense the two work well when overlaying the green krypto over the laservibe red. However its much dimmer beam then the ameba green makes it a poor choice for small clubs etc where a nice visible beam class IIIa green laser is desired. Its also a little dimmer then the laservibe green lasers, but not by much. So again its the worst visibility green I know of.
Quality
Well made & works well, but with dimmer beam then other class IIIa green lasers and no on/off switch, it only rates a 7. Best suited to use with red lasers for layering, or for little kids who may use it unsupervised. Beam visibility is again the poorest I've seen for a class IIIa green laser. If it wasnt for units overall very good build would rate the krypto a 6 instead of a 7.
Value
6 due to poor beam visibilty compared to other brand class IIIa green lasers that cost $200-$300. Half the asking price would be better and fairer price for the unit due to this.
Manufacturer Support
Dunno, havent dealt direct with americandj.com
The Wow Factor
I would not rebuy it, nor will I be buying other american dj brand lasers in the future due to kryptos beam dimmness compared to other IIIa green lasers.
