The G3 gives complete control over individual effects and amp modeling for modifying your tones on the fly while performing. An onboard drum machine and looper make the G3 an incredible option for guitarists of every level.

Most of the G3's comprehensive features stem from its three large LCD displays and corresponding footswitches. Together they form a graphical interface that allows you to utilize and manipulate up to three amp or stomp box effects in any combination at any time. Or use the G3's super-real amplifier modeling and over 100 built-in DSP effects to craft your own sounds. The pedal can store up to 100 original tones without a hitch.

Each of the G3's footswitches offer additional functionality when held down. The first engages the Patch function to select your desired modeling units. With the second, activate the Tuner for smooth, real-time response with precise guitar tuning accuracy. The third footswitch provides you with Looper capabilities, including 40 seconds of phrase recording and overdubbing. In addition, the G3 offers an integrated drum machine that turns practice into a jam.

The G3 is also a USB audio interface for DAW recording on your computer. The pedal is bundled with Zoom's Edit and Share software so you can easily create patches and also comes with Steinberg's Sequal LE DAW for all your recording needs. Players will get over 6 hours of operation using four AA batteries, as well as USB bus and AC power.

Overall: This product is exactly what it advertises itself to be. I wanted an affordable multi-effects box. I was not interested in amplifier simulations as I am very happy with the amps I have. There are effects I will never use and many that I have not checked out yet but I now have two sets of three stomp arrangements that I like very much and at $199 the price is great.I have also used the looper and it works very well.I am very pleased with this product

Overall: I test and evaluate alot of gear every year. This is the best mulit-effect processor I have worked with so far. Beats out the Rp %%, RP 155, Rp 255, and will compare to the Rp355 next Month. It also leaves the Vox tone lab st in the dust. It is not perfect but I am amazed at what you get, the recording software is impressive, I am still comparing it to "Pro-tools" will leave feedback in about 6 Months on that. Downside like most multi efect processors its ok at alot of things but not really great at one thing. But its the best so far and the software makes the purchase a "No-brainer" get one now!!! But you will need to get a USB cable for your computer, it does not come with one Strange.

Style of Music: I teach all genres of music, to focus on one style will not make you a good player.
