Expanding on their popular 505II effects pedal, Zoom adds more effects, more patches, drive, modeling, and a built-in assignable Expression pedal. Top that off with 35 effects types (9 simultaneously), 42 patch locations, a specific Drive knob selecting 11 Drive Types (including 5 modeling effects and 3 types of Amp Simulation), Up/Down Gain buttons, and an Expression Pedal assign button complete with LED status. Other features include a built-in tuner, Zoom Noise Reduction, a 2-digit 7-segment LED display, and will run on 4 "AA" batteries or an optional AC adapter. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Zoom products.

"Best Value out there!"

Sound: The sound is really good, I have heard Boss distortion pedals that do not sound as good, for example. Excellent for small garage bands that wanna have some fun! Feature: It sucks that it does not include the AC Adapter, then again, it would not be as cheap. The Expression Pedal is excellent. You can do "Morello-like" stuff! I wish it had a Harmonist effect, kinda like Incubus "Nice to Know You", but it has other great things: distortions, pitch effects, etc. The delay effect could also be better, as far as the feedback and the depth is concerned. But it is fine. Quality: If you are careful, this product, even though it is made out of plastic, should last. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so I don't really know. Again, as long as you take care of it, you should be ok! Value: If you just want to play small gigs with some cool effects, you should be ok! Don't expect to be able to sound like Metallica with this modest pedal. You can get really close though! Best thing out there for the price: best value! Manufacturer Support: There should be a "Does not apply" option for this category. I have never had to deal with them. The Wow Factor: The moment I read the features, the reviews and saw the price, I WANTED IT!!! I am improving my songwriting and even my playing skills with it! Overall: Like I said before, the delay could be better, and the harmonist effect is definitely missing! All other features are great. Great Value.

Sound: The distortion is excellent could be a bit better though.. the mod is fine.. the wah is v digital n quite sharp.. but i m extremely satisfied with the sound... Feature: for such a small pedal... the features are aaalllloott1!! it has almost everything i need... Quality: I will rate it 10 if it was made of metal... though its plastic its v strong n wont break easily almost lik a real metal.. onli stubborn pple who stomp hard on it n complain that it broke... i havent use it for gigs cos i just bought it last week but i will b using this for my coming gigs...=) Value: i got for onli S$115 whcih is around US$45!!!... it should cost more but i m happy with the price cos i don hv much$$... Manufacturer Support: I love zoom... because they sell quality product at a v affordable price... good especailly for poor musician lik me... Zoom rockz!! The Wow Factor: It looks v cool!! especially in black!!... n small!! it can fit into my bag easily... Overall: Overall this thing is amazing... good for beginners, i belive also good for experience musician who has no $$ ( like me hehe.. jus jokin) if u have more $$ go for the GFX5..
