Featuring a sleek new design, easy analog operation, 9 powerful new guitar effects, and amp modeling, the 505 II Guitar takes the world's most popular compact multi-effects guitar pedal to a new standard of performance.

The 505 II's molded chassis with its sleek, flowing lines and Silver finish offers a stylish appearance that's built to last. Extremely durable space-age plastic and a flat control surface take the worry out of carrying it in the same case with other gear.

As part of its enhanced design, the 505 II Guitar Pedal features new distortion effects including Clean, Scream, Wild, and Shred; along with new modulation effects such as Cry, Tremolo, Ring Modulation, Slow Attack, and Echo.

The 505 MKII includes a total of 33 guitar effects, arranged in 7 modules. Up to 9 effects can be used at the same time. In addition to 12 different types of smooth, rich distortion sounds, the 505II features world-famous guitar amp sounds created using Zoom's proprietary VAMS (Variable Architecture Modeling System) technology.

A large rotary selector, easy-to-read red LED display and foot switches make the 505 II truly user friendly. Sounds can be easily stored in up to 36 patch locations.

Other features include: ZNR (Zoom Noise Reduction); 28 hours of continuous operation with 4 size AA alkaline batteries plus AC operation; a rear panel input for an expression pedal; integrated auto chromatic tuner; and more. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Zoom products.

Sound: I am happy with this Zoom 505 II . once I read the manual and learned to program the pedal I invented so many sounds that emulate many other Guitar effects pedals that I decided to keep this one in my kit as one of my main effects processors. Charles,,, Gilbert az. Ease of Use: Im loving it !!! Quality: Great quality product Value: This is well worth the price to me.. Manufacturer Support: so far I havent had any issues .. Sound: All the effects are very good. Tremelo is very realistic. Reverbs and chorus excellent. Distortions . . . really they all sound good. Sometimes it breaks up a little, but I may be overdriving it. Feature: I really don't get into all the features of the electronic gear I buy. Life is too short. In general, this is a stomp box with a digital processor in it. . .it's very nice. Quality: This is a fantastic plastic stomp box that will cost you less than 100 bucks . . . if you weigh less than 300 pounds and you aren't on tour, this little box should last you for years. Value: For the money . . . it's a 10! Manufacturer Support: I asked Zoom a question via email. They responded very promptly and courteously . . . they really didn't read my question so I got an off the wall answer, but the prompt, courteous part counts for a lot, I think! The Wow Factor: I bought this pedal because I needed a tuner . . . it just happened to have a tuner PLUS a load of sweet digital effects. It may be the best 100.00 bucks I ever spent on musical gear. Overall: For the money, it's a great value. It is an effects pedal/tuner that does lots of neat stuff. It takes up no more space on my pedal board than my Rat distortion unit plus it cost me less to purchase. I rate it a 10.
