The Zildjian ZPB Pitch Black Master Sound Hi Hats feature a 15-inch diameter for power and a Mastersound edge on the bottom Hi Hat for commanding presence. The undersides of the hi hats are uncoated to allow a crisp response.

The formidable sound and look of Rock at its absolute best. Pitch Black cymbals were specifically designed to be coated and played loud! Zildjian started with their high performance Bronze 12 Alloy with its enhanced tin content and added weights, sizes and profiles guaranteed to deliver the brightness and presence required for Rock applications. They then developed a proprietary coating process which allows the cymbal to be durable and strikingly beautiful yet still open up like a cymbal should. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Zildjian products.

Sound: Not too bad, these cymbals have a nice crisp chick sound and more volume than the 14" ZXT's I was using. They are a little higher pitched than I was expecting, and they really crank when played closed loose, but they will get me by while I save up for 15" K mastersounds to go with my K Hybrids, and K Dark crashes, and K Hybrid ride. Feature: I guess the feature of these is the black finish which is holding up well after six months of play. And it looks good too! Ease of Use: hi hat cymbals are pretty easy to use Quality: even the lower grades of Zildjian cymbals are very durable. I have a full set of ZXT Titaniums that I have had for 5 years and I still use them on my practice set Value: these Pitch Black hi-hats are a great value and a killer deal at this price. Not as good as A's or A Customs or K's etc... but good for getting by, until you can get the best Manufacturer Support: never needed them in over 30 years of drumming Overall: lower pitch than 14" hats but still not low enough for my taste but they are durable, attractive, and sound pretty good. I will be getting 15" K mastersounds as soon as I can for that deep rich tone I'm looking for.
