About This Product!
Description
Sound that's always in style. Legend. Legacy. The innovative cymbal work of Art Blakey, Elvin Jones, Tony Williams or any one of a sweeping collection of the greatest drummers in history. They’ve all been fueled by K Zildjian cymbals. The deep, dry and shimmering sounds developed by Kerope Zildjian in 19th Century Turkey continue to inspire drummers today. Elaborate hammering and lathing work our secret alloy into versatile cymbals with a wide-ranging blend of high and low frequencies that can be mellow or intense. It all depends on how you play them.

Dark, Warm and Expressive…
The deep, dry and shimmering sounds developed by Kerope Zildjian in 19th Century Turkey continue to inspire drummers today. Elaborate hammering and lathing work our secret alloy into versatile cymbals with a wide-ranging blend of high and low frequencies that can be mellow or intense.

Speak of “Old K” cymbals crafted by Zildjian in Turkey early last century and most drummers will immediately remember a favorite “Old K” recording, like Elvin with Coltrane or Tony with Miles. They’ll probably ask if you have any to sell. Well prowl the pawnshops no longer. The Zildjian Sound Lab teamed up with Elvin Jones himself to develop our most masterful cymbal expression yet: K Constantinople. These incredible cymbals speak the deep dark stirring sounds of their revered forefathers. Quality controlled every step of the way, K Constantinople’s are created in very small quantities to ensure that each is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

K Light Ride
A new ride to the K line, this 24" beauty is designed to generate wide variations of sound. Thin in weight, it has a dark sound with plenty of overtones. The cymbal can be used as a straight ahead ride capable of handling light playing in a trio setting to a rock ride that cuts through loud, amplified settings. It features a smaller bell and exhibits a moderate degree of edge wobble. Drummers like Joey Castillo, Travis Barker and Ronnie Vanucci have already made it their main ride.
