The YDPS31 utilizes Yamaha's sophisticated AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) Stereo Sampling for the instrumental voices, faithfully reproducing all of the dynamic details and sonic nuances of the original. A built-in song recorder and metronome that makes the YDPS31 ideal for piano lessons, practicing, or even as a scratch pad for your next masterpiece.

50 specially selected piano songs of standard piano repertoire are built into each, either for your listening enjoyment, or as a rehearsal tool while playing out of the included 50 Greats for the Piano book. The damper pedal includes an authentic Half Damper effect, giving you nuanced expressive control over the sustained sound, far more realistic than a simple on/off footswitch.

Drawing on over a hundred years of experience and craftsmanship in making world class acoustic pianos, the YDPS31 provides exceptionally natural, grand piano-like touch, with realistic weight gradations, heavy in the lower end and light in the upper.
