The PSR-E323 is the first digital keyboard in the Yamaha line-up with a touch sensitive keyboard, and features a backlit LCD screen and an easy-to-use 2-track recorder. Packed with 482 voices, the Music Database feature includes 102 preset songs, each with its own specially-selected Style and Voice settings. In addition to XGlite and reverb, the model offers exceptional sound.
With Yamaha's Touch Response, the PSR-E323 keyboard responds like an acoustic piano. If you're buying a keyboard having piano in mind, you'll want Yamaha's Touch Response feature. On an acoustic piano, striking a key harder will produce a louder sound, striking it softer will produce a softer sound.

One press of the Portable Grand button resets the entire keyboard to a stereo-sampled piano, perfect for when it's time to practice. Yamaha is known around the world for the quality of their acoustic pianos and this attention to detail is evident as you enjoy the warmth and clarity of this Portable Grand piano.
The PSR-E323 has a large selection of professional sounding voices called XGlite. Only Yamaha's best keyboards have the capacity to support and reproduce Yamaha's XGlite voices. The result is amazing sound quality and almost 500 voices for you to choose from, offering even greater compatibility with both 3rd party and Yamaha XG software.

The PSR-E323 comes with 102 built-in songs and an interactive lesson system, divided into left and right hand parts, for learning them. In addition, you have the ability to connect to a computer, download more songs from the Internet into the internal Flash ROM, and use all of the Yamaha Education Suite features to help you learn to play them. Yamaha makes it easy to get connected with the PC button. Now, instead of wading through function menus and fighting through a maze of selections, one button is your expressway to music on the web and your computer.

You can connect to the MIDI port on the back with an optional USB-MIDI and once connected, you can play your songs into the computer, edit them if necessary, and e-mail them to your friends and family. And with General MIDI (GM) and XGlite compatibility, song data always plays back with the correct sounds.

Dual mode allows you to combine two voices across the keyboard at the same time, for example piano and strings. Split Mode allows you to select a different voice for each hand, for example piano for your right and bass for your left. With the 482 voices found in the PSR-E323, the combinations are limited only by your imagination.

The PSR-E323 features MIDI In/Out, Sustain Pedal jack and a Headphone jack for private practice.

"The best portable keyboard I ever have!"

Sound: The sound is just great! It respond very well to my playing thanks to the Touch response! Even without an external Amp the speakers of the keyboard did very well in gigs and worship. No cracking or other nonsense present on maximum volume and the bass reflex are just too good! Feature: When I bought this, it did not include the Sustain pedal foot switch as it is sold separately but the pedal is inexpensive. I really liked the Dual feature which you can layer any sounds together. And don't worry. they are lots of voices to choose from! Ease of Use: It is very easy to use. I did try an external amp and no problems were found. So no problem here, everything is just very easy! If you know what your doing. Quality: This product is very well made and it is not heavy at all. I am worried that my 'baby' may get messy and all on the road so I put it in a keyboard bag. And I don't see anything that is bad about this product. Value: For this price range, I am pretty much satisfied with my keyboard. Although it does not include everything but I think that is understandable. Manufacturer Support: None. The Wow Factor: I liked the design and colour of this keyboard. It really feels like that this is a next generation keyboard. Overall: Overall, I am OVERLY satisfied with this keyboard! The Touch response, the split voice, dual voice, the soft touch of the keys...everything is just perfect!

Sound: This is an awesome product even if it cost twice as much. The fact that it is so affordable for people who play and compose. I was stunned by the grand piano sound, remembering how difficult that sound was to obtain on a reasonably-priced keyboard not very long ago. I have yet to try all the intonations------basically, this is does way more than I expected and my hat's off to Yamaha. Feature: This will be my first experience with MIDI, and so far the DVD tutorial has made me feel comfortable going forward; as there is nothing about this keyboard that has been less than excellent, I expect to have a good time learning. Ease of Use: You turn it on and play it. Oh: plug it in. Soundsjust like a piano Manufacturer Support: I haven't needed support, so I cannot answer the question. The Wow Factor: It doesn't matter--looks is secondary; I'd rather have 88 keys.
