Manufacturer's Description for Yamaha DGX230 76-Key Portable Keyboard

The DGX230 is the new 2008 base model in the popular Yamaha DGX Digital Piano range. With a superb stereo Grand Piano sound, and 76 box style piano keys the DGX230 is an ideal introduction to piano playing. Not only is the piano action touch sensitive but this model features Yamaha's 'Graded Soft Touch' offering an authentic key action - heavier towards the bass end lighter towards the treble end.

The DGX230 has improved content over the old model (DGX220) with extra new styles, 489 sounds and an increased Music Database. It can be connected via USB to PC allowing you to download data from Yamaha's internet Music Finder Service onto your PC then into the DGX230 Music Database (software included). Running off either mains (adaptor optional) or batteries the DGX230 is versatile and portable making it ideal for performers of all ages and abilities. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Yamaha products.

Sound: It's hard to believe that a keyboard costing only $200 (which stand, PS, and headphones) could sound this good and have this good of key action. This is the same keyboard as the YPG-235 (the manual has both models on the cover) but at a much better price if you don't mind silver. I don't. Feature: stand, ps, headphones

"This is the best keyboard at this price."
Sound: Got this as a warehouse item and the few scuffs on the edges cleaned right off with some wax. Great deal at $180 and the sound is great. Feature: Has alot of good quality sounds with the grand piano being the best. Good recording and playback features. Quality: This is a quality istrument for the price Value: Great Value Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed post sales support but pre sales was prompt
