Get solid sound with Solid Wood. The superbly resonant, aesthetically appealing 750SW guitar shines as part of Washburn's acoustic series.

There is something intimate and essential about pure acoustic sound; there is an inherent immediacy and vibrancy to acoustic playing. The care of the craftsmanship, the feel of the strings, the skillfulness of the musician, the shape of the body, and the quality of the wood, these are the non-environmental factors that control the tonal ripeness of acoustic playing. Washburn designed their brand new Solid Wood Series -- comprised of the 150, 160, 170, 250, 750, and 760 models -- honoring this aural pursuit. Every guitar in the SW series features solid high-grade wood top, back, and sides for brilliant resonance, hearty construction, and professionally clear and crisp tone.

The WD 750SW features exquisite design and quality wood for a superior acoustic sound. The 750SW has a solid spruce top and ovangkol sides and back (ovangkol shares tonal characteristics with rosewood but is generally considered a bit livelier) that produce a richly resonant and warmly enveloping sound that is still very responsive to punchy and aggressive playing styles. The 750 model is available either as the standard dreadnought pattern 750SW seen here or as the 750SWCE, the slightly more expensive cutaway model. Either way, you get a full-bodied tone that could only be the result of solid wood construction.

As a cutaway or standard model, the 750 not only sounds great but has an inviting natural beauty and surprising degree of durability. The pristine woodgrain finish is complimented by the sturdy rosewood read more binding and the stylish rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The abalone rosette and stunning satin finished mahogany neck add a final pinch of flair while the quarter sawn scalloped bracing lends the 750 additional stability and rigidity.

Although Washburn's D10'S model may be favored by some beginner's for its ease of playability and musician-friendly price point, the 750 is the aesthetically and aurally bolder choice for the guitarist craving a heftier sound that still shimmers with acoustic majesty.
