"Clean Amp Owners... Look No Further!!!"

Feature:
Exactly Enough!

Quality:
Solid as a rock! I'll be gigging with this new found friend for a long time I'm sure. At such a killer price, I'm planning on buying another one (just because..). A true ace-in-the-hole effect.

Value:
Read the above testimonials, and that should say it all!

Desirability:
Looks great and sounds way better 'nuff said

Sound:
My only question is why would I buy an extremely expensive boutique amp when all I'll ever need is my '65 reissue Blackface Twin and the Jeckyl and Hyde. In the "red" mode, With the gain at about 11:00 it's reminescent of a hot rodded Soldano, Cornford (that might be stretching it just a little), or Marshall stack. With all the clean headroom balls if the Twin (about a grand), and the perfect overdrive of this pedal (around a buck and a half), it's like a third of the price... Not to mention all the other tonal possibilities with the effect mixture factor! This pedal puts me in that creative comfort zone (where you feel like you wanna play for days)...It doesn't seem to matter what guitar is in front of it, my main fiddle is a U.S. Masters Lacewood Vector with a Gibson '57 Classic Plus at the bridge, a Bill Lawrence custom Keystone at the neck, and a Duncan Little'59 in the middle.... Eddie VH, it's in there... Warren Haynes, it's in there... Gary Moore, it's in there... Listen to Johhny Hiland's new C.D..You get the picture! From articulate to creamy, and many sweet combos of both... THIS THING SNORTS!

Support:
Haven't needed it but still gave a "10" because of my impression up to this point.

Overall:
You owe it to yourself to try this killer out! Especially if you've got a nice, loud, clean (tube preferably) amp to push with it. I seriously can't possibly say enough about it!

"Outstanding versatility, Warm, Powerful OD/Dist."

Green channel: Tubescreamer, good for smooth feedback.
Red Channel: Very similar tonality to Marshall JCM 900 with a heavy Low End that really fills out the sound. Sounds excellent and consistent at all volumes (with Laney LC50 and Strat Plus). EQ and gain ranges very well designed, genuinely allowing anything from slightly gritty overdrive to screeching black metal. I usually use the green channel simply as a volume boost (very effective) or just to create more feedback. The pedal also (apparently) features a circuit which cleans up the guitars signal allowing purer signal to reach the amp. It is not true bypass BUT it IMPROVES your guitar signal. Highly recommended to anyone whio likes any sort of Overdrive/distortion. For those who like high gain sounds, but who have a thin sounding but reasonably large (>30 watts) amp, then this pedal is a good possibility. Wicked.

From Our Catalog
There has never been an overdrive pedal quite like this one. Two separate overdrives in one pedal, each with separate controls, but with the ability to use them individually or together.

The Jekyll half is designed to accurately reproduce the sound of the TS-808 original TubeScreamer.

Hyde is a heavier distortion with more bottom end and is extremely versatile. Not just a "Turbo" version of Jekyll, Hyde has a wide range of sounds that can be discovered by using the EQ knob to scoop out the midrange or add more, a Sharp/Blunt switch to go from a more compressed distortion to very bright, and the usual Drive, Tone, and Volume knobs to set the overall style of sound.

With the ability to use both halves separately or together, the sonic possibilities are endless.

Features
Thick steel housing

Pure Tone buffer circuit

Bass Boost switch for Jekyll channel

Sharp/Blunt switch

To channels contain almost any overdrive or distortion sound you could ever want

"Jekyll" channel sounds like the original TS808 and even uses the JRC4558 op-amp

EQ knob on Hyde changes from a flat EQ to a wild scooped-mid sound, while the Sharp/Blunt switch allows you to get a very bright or more compressed sound

Combine the channels for hot blues, raging rock, or molten metal leads

Technical Info

Approximately 5 1/2 in. wide by 6 3/8 in. long including the point.

Uses regulated 9VDC center negative polarity adapters, or 9V alkaline battery.
Two pedals in one! Jekyll sounds like the original TubeScreamer. Hyde is much heavier. Independent volume, drive, and tone knobs.
