Product Description

The Toby Deluxe-IV features the same classic design as features as the "Standard" but adds to it, a powerful bass shaping system called the active Tonexpessor. The "Deluxe" also comes in gorgeous translucent satin finishes showing off the natural wood grain for which Tobias basses have been famous.

Classic Electronics:

The Toby Deluxe-IV electronics feature classic Tobias-designed pickups with a Tobias SCR single coil in the neck and a Tobias SCTsingle coil at the bridge. Controls are all metal knurled knobs and include Neck Volume, Pickup Blend with center Detent, and Master EQ. An Active Tonexpressor Bass Enhancement Control enables the player the option of creative blends and is a powerfulally on stage to when you need fine adjustments to cut through dense mixes. The Active Tonexpressor uses an easy-to-change 9-volt battery. The bridge is flush-mounted for a low profile and is fully adjustable. Satin finish options include Trans Amber, Trans Black, Trans Red, and Walnut. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Tobias products.
