Tuned to deliver the growl of English Alnico Bulldog-style speakers, this pedal also gets thick with rich, even harmonics as the Character control is pushed harder. SansAmp Character Series
Each pedal in the Character Series is loaded with the tonal DNA for a specific style of guitar amplifier. By simply twisting a few knobs, you can build those sought-after tones or hot rod your own. From rare vintage classics to roaring modern icons, every variation is delivered in the distinctive voicing of that amp style. The intuitive amp-like controls let you get your hands dirty from the get-go to explore decades of blistering tones.
Being a genuine SansAmp, each Character Series pedal is way more than a stompbox. Each can be used as a stand-alone pre-amp to drive a power amp, a studio mixer, or a PA system, with the rich SansAmp cabinet emulation that sounds huge – even straight into a computer soundcard. "VERY IMPRESSED - BEST VOX emulation in a pedal"

full equivalizer, very sensitive and a lot of flexibility
Quality:
Made in USA the box is light (which is a plus for me), and works perfectly very reliable on the outside, and inside I hope too.
Value:
Get it if you want vox (without having a real amp) in your home or other recordings
Desirability:
Would buy it again no doubt

This is the BEST VOX-type pedal I have found so far for direct recording! I just plugged it direct into my portable zoom studio recorder - and got the sound I wanted! No-brainer! Period! Smooth, ringing, no harshness, can be dangly or brianmayish if neccesary, from pure clean to full overdrive-distortion. I am very much impressed! Better than GT2 or Triace... Not for metal though I guess Give it 9 in terms of sound, by the way it is an analog stomp
