"There OK! "
Feature:
Basic features... stand-by would of been nice

Quality:
I ordered these and had to send em back... the 1st set I got had a vibration in one of the woofers that was really annoying but my replacement set came really fast (big ups to zZounds) and I haven't had any problems so far. The build of these things is very solid which is the main reason I bought them over the MR8's... I love the steel back & heat sink and seamless cabinet verses a cardboard back and seams you see on even more expensive monitors.

Value:
I never understood why "studio monitors" cost so much when there really just flat frequency speakers... in the consumer world people pay more for a hyped up sounding speaker and here we are as artist paying way more for flat response speaker... I guess I get it a little bit though... it is "professional" grade... I mean to me though it's still just a woofer and a tweeter hooked to amps in a cabinet tuned flat end of story. Bottom line all studio monitors are over priced so to buy with that reality in mind the Tapco S-8's are a OK deal.

Desirability:
Never understood why my gear had to look "sexy" NO I DON'T WANT TO BONE IT! but it dose look nice, lol

Sound:
These sound good overall I'm almost satisfied ("almost" is good for me) I'm sure other more expensive monitors sound and translate better so I won't be throwing out a 10 on the rating but the sound is expressive and the bottom end is decent...I can feel my music which is all that really counts to me aside from getting a good mix, speaking of translate... they definitely do the job but don't expect your 1st mix to be perfect...as with any monitor you have to learn & get to know your monitors... almost like building a relationship and understanding where the hi, mid's & lows really sit... takes a few projects to peg it.

Ease of Use:
Any dummy can do it!

Support:
Haven't had to go there yet.

Overall:
One thing I will point out is I don't know how they measure woofers but I will tell you this is NOT a 8" woofer! To be precise it is 7 & 1/8" That being stated I will also tell you the bottom end is still pretty decent otherwise I would have sent them back on the account of that.
