Absolutely affordable in price, Tama's new HP200 pedal is also completely professional in performance. Developed with the same design concept as the Iron Cobra, the HP200 features the same offset Power Glide cam shape, beater angle adjustment, and movable hop clamp of the Iron Cobra line. A new design dual-sided beater (DS30) provides full volume and clear attack.

Power Glide
Both the HP200 and HP10 single chain pedals utilize the same offset cam shape as Tama's best selling Iron Cobra Power Glide.

Para-Clamp
As with Iron Cobra pedals, the head section of the hoop clamp rotates with the angle of the bass drum hoop so your HP200 stays flat on the floor.

Beater Angle Adjustment
You won't find adjustable beater/footboard angles on most pedals in this price range. But Tama's HP200 and HP10 come standard with an angle adjustment system linked to the footboard angle. So you can easily recall your favorite angle setting, both the HP200 and HP200TW feature an "Angle Memory Cap."

Spring Tension Adjustment
Inspired by Iron Cobra's "Spring Tight" feature, this specially shaped nut prevents the spring unit from loosening. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Tama products.

Sound: Big sound is not a problem with these extremely heavy beater heads. Feature: If you are interested in learning how to use the heel-toe technique and think you need to get the axis longboards because you have big feet this is the pedal for you! I have size 13 shoe and I can comfortably roll off 32nd notes like they were 16ths. Not many other notable features except the obvious standard ones. Ease of Use: So simple to set up, didnt even have to crack the instructions. Quality: Not the best thing you can buy out there. But that said, it is built like a tank and will not break. Value: This is a begginer pedal. However, you wouldn't know from looking. For the extremly low price it is the best begginer pedal you can buy. Good if you are just testing the waters of double bass drumming. The Wow Factor: Sex appeal... no. But is a well built peaice of equipment, besides who but you will ever see the damned thing. Overall: I have been using this pedal for about a year and I feel like I am ready to upgrade to the rolling glide. If there were a couple of things i wish i had known before i plunked down the 200 clams it would that it weighs a ton, and more importantly it does not have the level of adjustability i expected it to have.

Style of Music: Rock, cheap metal.

"Pretty much like the iron cobra."

Sound: Sounds like any other double pedal. Feature: Everything is pretty much adjustable so you can get it exactly how you want it. Ease of Use: It was a little hard to set up but other than that its good. Quality: Very sturdy and reliable. Value: Very good for the price Manufacturer Support: Dunno never called them so i just gave a 10. The Wow Factor: Looks good, but it's not like anyone is gonna see it anyways. Overall: Overall a good pedal.
