Feature:
I like the single side cord because it prevents from accidental snags, and they fold up nicely making them travel friendly in a bag or backpack. The headband takes a little getting used to however since there are no notches to choose for your head size.
Quality:
Stanton only makes audio equipment, and mainly for DJs, so the quality is very well made.
Value:
I truly believe these are the best sounding headphones in thier price range.
Sound:
The highs are crisp but not quite as bright as I'd like, and the low end is amazing! The separation is excellent and I heard notes and sounds on my mp3s I never heard before!
Ease of Use:
Very easy to wear and they are snug (maybe too snug for some people) so they isolate sound well and block outside noise. Great for riding a bus.
Support:
No need so far.
Overall:
For anyone wanting a entry level high end headphone, these are a great choice. I looked at all types in this price range (Sennheizer, Sony, Audio Technica)and these had the best reviews on sound, which is obviously the most important thing when buying headphones. The low end of 3 hz is well below what the human ear can hear, but you definitly will hear bass notes that many other pairs won't pick up. There isn't a pair with a lower frequency response. I think the only con for these headphones is the headband may be a bit to tight for a person with a larger shaped head.
I would buy these again and reccomend them to any person who had average headphones before. I wouldn't reccomend them to a audiophile enthusist however. But then again, they wouldn't want a $40 headphone either. :)
