Overall:
Listen cats I come from the school of hard knock in the field of true D.J.ing. Listen i had a pair of the industry standard 1200 and lost them in the shuffle of life, And i really need some more tables quick cause i was missing some serious gigs!So i had to make some move to get new tables then i stubbled across stanton djlab 2 it come with two T.60 turntables, a m.120 mixer, head shell with needles, slipmats, dustcovers, and most of all some headphones!Listen i knew that Stanton made dj needles but how would they measure up in the turntable land? First and foremost the T.60 is direct drive which is must for serious dj's cut and scratch! What i was concern with was the torque that it had, bad torque on backspins and it can ruin your night! I began to rub a dub and it had decent amout of torque to pull off with my heavy hand scracthing. If you use dubplates you might want to add butter rug!I loved the mixer it's glide was like moving flying faders real smooth!Sound quality of these tables were excellent, with good and stable pitch control. Those headphone are loud but it even has volume control them already!! The only fault i find with this package it that there is no cue lifter and some situation it might not be enough torque for ya. But if you are wiiling fork out a few hundred dollars you can upgrade to the DjLab 3 package will be up your lane. But i you are budget minded and want that quality and don't mind the loss of a few conviences then this your package cutmaster!!
