About This Product!
Description
The beautiful, Cobalt Blue Metallic Bullet Special guitar was designed as a "no nonsense" guitar that delivers the look and tone you need to get noticed. Sporting one hot humbucker, chrome hardware, one volume knob and a black pickguard - this limited edition Bullet will separate you from the pack. It also features a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 21 medium frets and a hardtail bridge.

Squier instruments are all backed by Fender, so why buy a copy when you can afford the real thing?

"Good guitar (exceptional for the money) that could be a new classic with some minor mods."
Feature:
I love the configuration: no vibrato, no single coils, just solo humbucker. NOTE TO FENDER: see my comments in "overall" -- there is a market for this type of guitar.

Quality:
For the price, it's almost astonishing how well made it is.

Value:
Very well put together instrument.

Desirability:
Basically a Stratocaster without the weenie single coils and 3 knobs. This guitar has a rather thin body though.

Sound:
Suprisingly good. Bright, but rings true through chords and solos well.

Ease of Use:
It's a guitar...

Support:
Haven't needed it.

Overall:
It's a great guitar for the money. I replaced the stock pup with an EMG 85 and the tuners for Sperzel Trim-locs, and now have a good quality second guitar. One caveat: I had to route out some parts of the body to fit the EMG electronics, and had to open up the pickguard hole for the larger 85. It gets an 8 because several frets buzz right out of the box. Dressing the frets on this type of guitar takes only minutes at the factory -- I would pay another 20-30 bucks for Fender/Squier to handle this. ALSO -- I would meet a 500+ price point for this same configuration (no vibrato, single humbucker, etc.) if Fender would issue the guitar with a top quality pickup, stainless steel jumbo frets, option of maple fretboard, Sperzel locking machines, hard tail bridge that strings through the body, and a thicker basswood or alder body, that matches the dimensions of a US Strat. There are many guitarists out there that love the Strat, but hate the single coils and abhor the placement of the knobs. WHY does the volume knob have to be right on top of the bridge pickup on all your models? Many players prefer to use the heal of our hands to dampen the strings, and the location of this knob makes it awkward, if not impossible. Take a chance! Make this guitar!

"get a great blue bullet for an awesome price!"
Feature:
this is a no nonsense guitar with only a volume knob on it. it still sounds great, but if you want tons of extras, you're not gonna get it in this guitar.

Quality:
it's backed by fender so what else can i say? this blue bullet was made well. i think it will last forever(or at least until i can afford a new guitar). it doesnt have any blemishes on it, so it is just a great guitar.

Value:
you get a lot of great sound and quality for your well earned cash with this guitar. it might not have a lot of extras, but thats fine with me. i love it

Desirability:
this guitar is sexy! when i first saw it my jaw dropped. it really looks good. the color is awsome. i was thinking of painting my car that color. ohh the way it feels in my hands is amazing!

Sound:
this is my first guitar and it has really helped in the learning proccess. it sounds great and the double coil pickup can crunch out a hard reverb for the metal heads, or it can play such a nice melodic tune. its an amazing little guitar compared to others for this price.

Support:
well, i havent had any problems with it yet. i guess since squier is backed by fender the service is good....but i really dont know.

Overall:
this guitar is my first, so i don't expect to get a new one for a while(at least until i get better). this guitar is sexy and it sounds great for an amazing price. i love this guitar and if anyone tried to steal it i think i would go into depressed hibernation for a while until i found one just as unique as this one. what else can i say, i love it!
