Sennheiser HD212 Pro Closed Headphones
The HD212 Pro are closed, dynamic hi-fi stereo headphones with precise treble response, a well defined midrange and smooth, deep bass. This new design results in a balanced, spatial sound image. The low impedance rating of only 32 ohms make the HD212 Pro very loud. 1/8 in. connector with 1/4 in. adapter. Frequency range is an incredible 12Hz - 19kHz. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Sennheiser products.

Sound: The sound is quite good for the price. Sounds fairly flat to me. Voices sound natural. Good sense of presence. I haven't tried a wide variety of styles of music yet. Isolation from the room is fair. Feature: They're a very low end "pro" item. Sennheiser calls them "semi-circumarual" -- I call them supra-aral (i.e. they sit on your ears, not around them). They're not nearly as comfortable as the HD590 (which is many times the price). Cord enters both ear pieces. Quality: This is my one serious complaint: they're mostly made of cheap plastic parts that feel like they could be broken easily. If you're willing to baby them, then these could be considered a good value because the sound is pretty good for the money. Manufacturer Support: I don't know anything about their support. Overall: If you need sealed headphones and only have $50 these sound pretty good. If you're going to wear them alot or treat them rough, spend more money and get something more comfortable and/or rugged.

"Great headphone value and sound!"
Sound: Nice sound for headphones in this price range. Great bass response. Feature: Nice headband padding and earphone padding is comfortable and overall, headphones are fairly light. Quality: Nice quality for the price. Value: Overall, great product and value. Manufacturer Support: N/A at this time. Overall: This is a poor man's set of quality headphones, for those who can't afford the higher end Sennheiser models or brands such as Bose, etc.
Style of Music: Rock, etc.
